The Ministry of Home Affairs of India has commenced the preliminary Test for the ACIO-II 2017. The Written examination for the ACIO-II (IB Officer) took place on Oct 15, 2017, across the country successfully. As per the reports, more than 10 lakh candidates were invited to appear in the examination and 70 attendance was reported.
As the examination has been commenced, the candidates who took part in the examination are complaining about the management. Few have even raised the points regarding the capability of the management.
At few examination centres, the candidates are reporting that they were not given enough time to solve the Question paper. The time was given for the same varied from 35 to 55 minutes. Now let’s discuss the results and cut off scores.

As the exam gets completed, the Exam board will now release the answer key at first stage. The candidates will be invited to submit the objections against the incorrect answers.
The board will review and validate the objection later on. Only the objections found valid will be reviewed. hence, to make an objection valid the candidates should submit the Proof which is available in documentary ways.
After that process, the board will prepare the final answer key and the Results of the preliminary Exam get prepared.

Now let’s discuss the cutoff score. The Cut-Off marks for a particular examination always vary. Furthermore, there are few factors which affect the Cut-off scoring.
The first one is the competition. Suppose we have 1 vacant post and 100 aspirants against it. As we have to select only one to five persons for the further procedure, the competition automatically rises to the peak level.
The second one is the difficulty of the examination. we have seen on several occasions that the board prepares the moderate paper but just because of the more number of aspirants, the cut off goes high. The same applies here.
