The Jharkhand e-Kalyan yojna is the scholarship scheme by the welfare department of government. JHARKHAND eKalyan Scholarship Scheme
Jharkhand government has launched the official website for the students to apply for a scholarship. The scholarship is based on academic excellence and backward classes. The amount that will be received will vary from each other. The students who are perusing their degree courses, their fee will directly be sent to their respective colleges and in case other students applied for scholarship their money will be sent to their bank accounts. The amount will vary in each case, according to the criteria required. The bank account has to send the SMS to the student on the number provided by them when the amount will be taken out from their account. DOCUMENTS required to apply online for Jharkhand e-Kalyan Scholarship
Documents are needed to be submitted while filling the application form. Required documents are listed in the application form. Few of the documents needed are listed below:
- Marksheet of the previous year (needed to check the academic merit of the student, on which the scholarship is based)
- Caste certificate (backward class)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for Jharkhand Scholarship
All the students related to SC/ ST/ OBC or minorities are not allowed for applying for the scholarship. There is a criterion for filling up the scholarship application form.
First of all, it is necessary for the student to be the residence of Jharkhand and are not able to pay the fee for their further studies. The family income of SC and ST should not cross Rs. 2 lakh per annum and for OBC, the income should not cross Rs.1 lakh per annum.
If while verification any student found guilty for filling up the wrong information in the scholarship application form, strict action will be taken against them and further, they will not be able to apply for these scholarships.

The students need to have their login ID and password, which was generated to them while they applied for the scholarship application. The students must also have their application form with them. The students can check their application status on the official website of e Kalyan the student just need to go to the official website page, where they can see various icons, the student needs to . on the icon where its written “student login”. There will be options on the screen to type your ID and password, by entering the required information the student will able to log in to the scholarship application filled by him/ her. The student will get the option on the screen to check the status of their application. By .ing on the required option, they will be able to check the status of their application easily.
