KPSC KAS Preliminary Exam Result & Cutoff Score details
The Karnataka Public Service Service has successfully completed a preliminary examination for Gazetted Probationers in the State Administrative Services (KAS) on 20 August 2017. In the next phase, the recruitment authority will announce the result for this exam. The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers (GP) Result is likely to be declared within two or three months. The candidates can check the KAS GP Result by using the Login ID (Application No.) and Password (Date of Birth) on the official website.
In 2015, a recruitment for 401 posts of KAS Gazetted Probationers in various departments of the Karnataka State. Applications were invited from the eligible candidates for these posts. As per the organizational information, A large number of candidates shown interest in this recruitment. A massive number of applications were received. The authority conducts a written examination (Prelims) for the registered candidates on 20.08.2017 respectively.

The KAS Gazetted Probationers Preliminary Exam took place on 20/08/2017. A massive number of candidates appeared in the examination. The candidates who have been a part of the test are eagerly waiting for the result for the same.
The KAS recruitment authority will announce the KPSC Preliminary Exam result as soon as possible. The result is likely to be declared in the third week of October. The candidates will be able to check the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result by using the application registration number and date of birth.
KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result get
The Commission releases KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in online or offline mode. In case, if the results are released in online mode, the applicants have to visit the official website and enter their login credentials such as Registration No. and Date of Birth. After entering these details, the detail will generate your result on the desktop screen. Now you can check your KPSC Gazetted Probationers results and can also get the provisional result sheet for future reference.
Whereas, to check the KPSC Result KAS Prelims Result 2017 through offline mode, the candidates have to get the result in pdf file from the official website. In the offline, the Commission will upload the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in Pdf format. In which all the qualified candidate’s Registration No. and Name is provided. The candidates can use Ctrl+F in order to search their Registration No. to check the result. The Commission will upload mark sheet on the official website after declaring the KPSC Administrative Services Exam Result 2017. The candidates can get the result sheet for the provisional use.
KPSC Gazetted Probationers Cut Off Scores
The Preliminary Examination had two papers with each carrying 200 Marks. The applicants need to score minimum qualifying marks in each paper to qualify. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination are eligible to appear in the mains exam. The Commission will announce the mains exam date, a few days after the declaration of KPSC KAS Prelims Exam Result 2017.
The recruitment authority will finalize the cut-off marks on the basis of difficulty of the exam, the number of applications received vs the number of vacancies and number of appeared candidates. A notification regarding category-wise cut-off marks will be published on the official web portal. The candidates will be intimated on their registered email id and mobile number also.

- Find the detail named KPSC Gazetted Probationers (Prelims) Result
- . on the detail and Fill the required details like reg no. & Pass
- Check the filled information and . on the proceed button
- The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result will be shown on your desktop screen
- get it and take a valid print out for provisional use

I got my relatives working in kpsc , constantly I m asking about evaluation process, they say it’s up to the secretary level, they don’t know anything about it. People act like as if they are secretary know everything even when I gone for document verification I asked about evaluation, but they said it’s confidential don’t know much about it . So wonder who are you? How did you know which paper is corrected and all? Are your information is authenticated?
Even I went for documentation, and asked about main results they said evaluation started just 10 days back.

Don’t know bro .. I know only about compulsory paper .. they told from now onwards remaining paper evaluation will start based on compulsory paper results and It might another 2 months for completion and publication of results .

The great irony in all this is the paper on ethics,kpsc is the epitome of unethical behavior. evaluation will be similar to PU, degree evaluation rt ??.. then we r at the mercy of luck..
How long they require to complete evaluation ?
If essay evaluation finished by now means, within a week they have correct 7000 plus essays. They need 40 to 50 lecturers for this assuming each can evaluate 25 essays per day.
With this speed, one month should be sufficient to complete GS evaluation..

Again I made a call to kpsc today again they are telling 2 months. Should we have to believe them ? I asked what where you doing all these days 5 months are over, hearing this they did not even reply they disconnected the call. This is such a crucial exam for many of us but I think they just think it as a joke.

They finished evaluation process and announced result last time within 6 months… As there was some problem with scanning of answer scripts.
This time there wasn’t any such issues.. So i doubt the results will be delayed for another 2 – 3 months…

In last point they said one must submit written letter to kpsc if they don’t want to join !!

It is true it has occurred but it cannot be 400-600 crores that’s not possible,but corruption has occurred in that batch,they are not mad to make baseless allegations they must be having some proof,if it goes for investigation truth will come out.Why will someone come out and say to do investigation unless he doubts on something..only investigation can tell the truth.

Fetching data is easy but replacing that data is difficult !!
Booklets are printed with continuous serial number so you can’t replace that with other booklet of completely other serial number
And now with Digital valuation all copies are saved permanently and if allegations come they have to submit.
And lastly we enter the booklet number in attendance copies and any mismatch can be easily spotted.
So taking copies off and replacing them is not possible.
Agreed Sir , It is very difficult , but not impossible , since it will fetch them crores they might do that ??? save one pdf with another — copy & replace –change the timestamp — all you need is an answer sheet with the same serial number ?? is it ? how do they make sure that the saved pdf is the same as the hard copy with invigilators signature– only investigation can reveal the true fact — because there is no TRUST basically .. going forward invigilator has to sign on all the pages of answer sheet …
Dept can easily track invigilators..what papers have gone to whom.can easily be found out

Hi All, This time though the prelims was very tough, the GM cut-ff was also very high (183+) , so does this happen in mains also ? will the mains cut-off be very high for GM? around 1000+? Any opinions please….
1000+ may be so to get group A… for group be 920+……..(since its 1:5)
it also depends on how all others have done their exams…… for GM(men) tough competition
