KPSC KAS Preliminary Exam Result & Cutoff Score details
The Karnataka Public Service Service has successfully completed a preliminary examination for Gazetted Probationers in the State Administrative Services (KAS) on 20 August 2017. In the next phase, the recruitment authority will announce the result for this exam. The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers (GP) Result is likely to be declared within two or three months. The candidates can check the KAS GP Result by using the Login ID (Application No.) and Password (Date of Birth) on the official website.
In 2015, a recruitment for 401 posts of KAS Gazetted Probationers in various departments of the Karnataka State. Applications were invited from the eligible candidates for these posts. As per the organizational information, A large number of candidates shown interest in this recruitment. A massive number of applications were received. The authority conducts a written examination (Prelims) for the registered candidates on 20.08.2017 respectively.

The KAS Gazetted Probationers Preliminary Exam took place on 20/08/2017. A massive number of candidates appeared in the examination. The candidates who have been a part of the test are eagerly waiting for the result for the same.
The KAS recruitment authority will announce the KPSC Preliminary Exam result as soon as possible. The result is likely to be declared in the third week of October. The candidates will be able to check the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result by using the application registration number and date of birth.
KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result get
The Commission releases KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in online or offline mode. In case, if the results are released in online mode, the applicants have to visit the official website and enter their login credentials such as Registration No. and Date of Birth. After entering these details, the detail will generate your result on the desktop screen. Now you can check your KPSC Gazetted Probationers results and can also get the provisional result sheet for future reference.
Whereas, to check the KPSC Result KAS Prelims Result 2017 through offline mode, the candidates have to get the result in pdf file from the official website. In the offline, the Commission will upload the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in Pdf format. In which all the qualified candidate’s Registration No. and Name is provided. The candidates can use Ctrl+F in order to search their Registration No. to check the result. The Commission will upload mark sheet on the official website after declaring the KPSC Administrative Services Exam Result 2017. The candidates can get the result sheet for the provisional use.
KPSC Gazetted Probationers Cut Off Scores
The Preliminary Examination had two papers with each carrying 200 Marks. The applicants need to score minimum qualifying marks in each paper to qualify. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination are eligible to appear in the mains exam. The Commission will announce the mains exam date, a few days after the declaration of KPSC KAS Prelims Exam Result 2017.
The recruitment authority will finalize the cut-off marks on the basis of difficulty of the exam, the number of applications received vs the number of vacancies and number of appeared candidates. A notification regarding category-wise cut-off marks will be published on the official web portal. The candidates will be intimated on their registered email id and mobile number also.

All are slowly falling into Kaka’s time line.many guessed it as first week of Sept and 17th and 19th etc….No date was real guess..So looking at the present scenario it should take already another 20 days to release the list. So interviews from November…

Madam i have not seen any lecturer entering Kpsc today. Infact i checked with the security also. He told no lecturer has come today. There was no one in fourth floor during lunch hours also.

even supposing that the evaluation is over by now, kpsc takes atleast 15 to 25 days to publish the results given all the pending formalities.

These 25 days timeline holds good when there is manual entry of marks.. This is not the case now..
Last time they had finished the list preparation, cross verification n approval until secretary level well within a week. However delay happened in getting approval from members side (1 r 2) as they were not available to get approval.. Even Thats not the case right now…

I agree. These Kpsc officials, until u know them personally, tend to lie to manage the situation or due to pressure. Since ur info is from evaluators its more reliable.
Finally the evaluation is completed.. Thats what matters the most.
Hopefully they speed up the process n release the list by this week or max by next week..
KPSC claims early date of results to avoid candidates complaints / pressure through CM or chief secretary etc..but inside story is always different. KPSC never stood by its words and by never cared the lives of candidates. If they say by this month end , it should be in next month only. Next month second we can expect..From November they may start interviews..

After some pressure from chief secretary sir office, jannu sir agreed to meet us. We submitted our memorandum to release long pending list.
Sir told many of it will be out by month end. We specifically asked for sub registrar, si and ae/je list.
He told sub registrar n ae/je list will be out by month end. Si mostly next month.
When asked about kas mains he told results will be out by month end. When we asked about evaluation, he told it got over last week.
We could not ask anything beyond this. We also do not know to what extent it is true. Please do not scold me if it does not come true.

Good effort ABC, but don’t believe his words, our some friends met controller in the month of April he said results will be by may month end. They know very well how to console us, ಏನೋ ಒಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವರ office ಇಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ ಸಾಗ ಹಾಕತ್ತಾರೆ ಅಷ್ಟೇ.
Controller had absolutely no idea about the entire process..he is still young n inexperienced….that’s y he thought that evaluation can be completed in one month

and Saturday I visited KPSC and met 1 evaluator he himself said that Monday it will be over only few papers r left but actually KPSC gave deadline till 20th but for sure it will be completed early on Monday that means today.
So if they speed up the process within 1 week they can release the result but he himself not sure about the date so he said within this month end.
And when I visited kpsc on Saturday afternoon there was a pooje function at kpsc ground floor around 1.30 afternoon.all staff were present for that function. U can cross check

Brother I’m not sure about this 1:5 list approval. Because as per my information today 3rd evaluation MAY* complete as 4 evaluators r there for today if not today at last 20th of this month.. so after that they have to send data to recruitment section to prepare list next the list goes for cross verification to other section after that they send it to secretary sign and after these steps list will be sent to commission for approval
……. So I couldn’t guess the date and all. AND already some lists r sent for commission approval including sub registrar list of 5/10/2016 notification. So let’s wait Brother… If I get any information I will try to share.

First day only they show letters sir not everyday… Ask in the gate counter about evaluation they will tell u it’s going on today also..but very few professors r there..
Me and my friends had gone to Kpsc to give memorandum to secretary to release long pending lists including kas mains. We were there near the gate from 930 to 1130. We dint get appointment. But we were asked to come tomorrow at 4. We did not see any one entering Kpsc showing letter to security.

Supreme court have upheld hc decision of cancelling the 2011 recruitment, so it’s almost a end game for selected candidates, the least they can do his to file a review petition to sc but it won’t help much. Now govt have to renotify the notification and may allow 2011 candidates to apply as well

But i would like to remind one thing, as part of implementing Hota committee reforms, outsiders (any one apart from staff of Kpsc) r not allowed inside Kpsc. Until u have an appointment..
Pls take prior appointment if u want to go speak to secretary or controller..
If u cant take prior appointment, Pls go in reasonable numbers n tell u need an appointment.. Ur chances of getting one will be high… But no assurance that u will get one!!!

Hota committee recommended 1:3 for interview, and completion of whole recruitment process in a week…. It’s not recommended useless things like gate keeper should let everyone enter who has appointment. Kpsc does not agreed to Hota committee.

-Now RD Is going on it might be completed today…
-And tomorrow also some professors r being invited for some other subject. So they may take 1 day to finish or 5 days that we don’t know…
– once evaluation completes then we can expect or guess result date. So don’t troll me for anything bcz I said earlier that till 15th sept evaluators r invited.. if needed they can call professors even after 15th also that I don’t know as of now…
-as I said until and unless evaluation completes nobody can guess about result. commission itself can’t predict the date of results. So be calm friends…

Hey u disappeared d last time u asked d question. Anyways, not really individual feed backs.. See wit vision n all, loads of papers they get evaluated from students itself.. Lik in Delhi, I knew who had corrected my papers too. So I feel it just gives u a grip to write n questions r standard so ur getting used to upsc..wit forumias I ve heard ki they giv individual attention. Just check..
But giv one test series properly, all tests, take feed back even from ur friends into upsc.. N improve on Wat u lack..

Evaluation from students itself… in the sense… students from our regular test series batch ? or former students who are faculty there ? Is the evaluation up to the mark ?
Vision is pathetic while coming to evaluation. They expect photocopy from their model answer and they do not even check for other points, so most often it demotivates you. It happened to me this year post Prelims. However their tests and model answers are genuine value addition.
Test series is best not to deviate from the schedule, so if you feel you have strong conviction follow their schedule and use toppers copy to self evaluate, meanwhile form a group of 2-3 students ,write answers daily and give feedback without fail.
Also if possible check writetobeIAS website, their plan is good for pre prelims but I haven’t heard much from students as they are new entrants.
Ensure that this targets are completed before Prelims
1) Optionals + atleast 1 revision (Don’t miss)
2) GS4
3)World History (Rest you will cover while preparing for Prelims but make a detailed notes which will come in Handy Post Pre)
4)Static part of GS2
5) Write atleast one answer daily
Post Prelims
Subscribe Test series both optionals and GS. It will suffice.
PS: Check India Bhai’s program once { This year it was good however same cannot be assured for next year)

Don’t know who misguided us or they themselves misguided by some officers in kpsc etc…Guessing evaluation would get over max by this weekend..But it’s still going on and no signs of getting over soon…Some actually guessed that evaluation would take another 15 days but we were not ready for that some even guessed results date 19th …All this is just imagination…Buy reality is that it’s getting delayed ..No near future end…

Follow the same procedure what KPSC is doing, just think that you are eating yummy and crispy pakoda

No need of blaming anybody here, all are putting their efforts and sharing information, no one can’t give cent percent information accurate. Even old secretary said kpsc will give results by FEB, chairman said results will be after July 15th, so when their information is wrong, then no need to abusive anybody.
What kaka is telling partially right, but interview will be held under present chairman.
I wish Ganesha will remove all obstacle which are delaying our results, let’s hope for results will be soon at least before October 10th.
