KPSC KAS Preliminary Exam Result & Cutoff Score details
The Karnataka Public Service Service has successfully completed a preliminary examination for Gazetted Probationers in the State Administrative Services (KAS) on 20 August 2017. In the next phase, the recruitment authority will announce the result for this exam. The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers (GP) Result is likely to be declared within two or three months. The candidates can check the KAS GP Result by using the Login ID (Application No.) and Password (Date of Birth) on the official website.
In 2015, a recruitment for 401 posts of KAS Gazetted Probationers in various departments of the Karnataka State. Applications were invited from the eligible candidates for these posts. As per the organizational information, A large number of candidates shown interest in this recruitment. A massive number of applications were received. The authority conducts a written examination (Prelims) for the registered candidates on 20.08.2017 respectively.

The KAS Gazetted Probationers Preliminary Exam took place on 20/08/2017. A massive number of candidates appeared in the examination. The candidates who have been a part of the test are eagerly waiting for the result for the same.
The KAS recruitment authority will announce the KPSC Preliminary Exam result as soon as possible. The result is likely to be declared in the third week of October. The candidates will be able to check the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result by using the application registration number and date of birth.
KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result get
The Commission releases KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in online or offline mode. In case, if the results are released in online mode, the applicants have to visit the official website and enter their login credentials such as Registration No. and Date of Birth. After entering these details, the detail will generate your result on the desktop screen. Now you can check your KPSC Gazetted Probationers results and can also get the provisional result sheet for future reference.
Whereas, to check the KPSC Result KAS Prelims Result 2017 through offline mode, the candidates have to get the result in pdf file from the official website. In the offline, the Commission will upload the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in Pdf format. In which all the qualified candidate’s Registration No. and Name is provided. The candidates can use Ctrl+F in order to search their Registration No. to check the result. The Commission will upload mark sheet on the official website after declaring the KPSC Administrative Services Exam Result 2017. The candidates can get the result sheet for the provisional use.
KPSC Gazetted Probationers Cut Off Scores
The Preliminary Examination had two papers with each carrying 200 Marks. The applicants need to score minimum qualifying marks in each paper to qualify. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination are eligible to appear in the mains exam. The Commission will announce the mains exam date, a few days after the declaration of KPSC KAS Prelims Exam Result 2017.
The recruitment authority will finalize the cut-off marks on the basis of difficulty of the exam, the number of applications received vs the number of vacancies and number of appeared candidates. A notification regarding category-wise cut-off marks will be published on the official web portal. The candidates will be intimated on their registered email id and mobile number also.
How to check KPSC KAR Gazetted Probationers Result 2017:
- First of all, visit the official website at http://www.kpsc.kar.nic.in/
- Find the detail named KPSC Gazetted Probationers (Prelims) Result
- . on the detail and Fill the required details like reg no. & Pass
- Check the filled information and . on the proceed button
- The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result will be shown on your desktop screen
- get it and take a valid print out for provisional use

Spoke to one of contacts in KPSC just now… They are in super speed to announce the results.. All arrangements are being made to announce it on 25th…if not for sure on 26th…nothing much is pending…but regarding interview schedule still discussion is going on.. Some want to cut down the time between eligibility list and interview schedule list.. Last time they have more than 15 days.. This time they want to cut it down.. But don’t know how it’s going to take a shape…but by now KPSC has the eligibility list!!! Fingers crossed how many deserved candidates are IN… all the best..

What is moderation?
It’s a method of scaling of optionals..it creates a level playing field among various optionals…it reduces r increases the marks of optionals based on the overall performance of aspirants in a particular optional….for e.g. In Kannada if the highest n lowest marks is 400 n 200 respectively,n in agriculture if the highest n lowest marks is 300 n 150…so when scaling is Done the marks of aspirant with agriculture optional is increased n Kannada marks is decreased…
Scaling takes into account the relative difficulty of each optional..so no undue advantage to aspirants with “Scoring Optionals “

I am not in a position to collect info at micro level ( as to tell what stage the list preparation n approval is in). However based on what info i have received from my source;
*List might go for secretary approval on Monday/Tuesday. (informed by secretary during a meeting with him).
*He is not ready to disclose exact date of interview. But he said, what I had told before (Oct 2nd week mid or 3 rd week) still holds good.
*Supposedly both mains list n interview schedule will go for approval together as planned before.
Pls note i have shared those info that i have received. I have no means to cross verify or to ensure same happens!!!

Hi to few of my friends who ask me information.
Today I visited KPSC for some other reason. Today there were no evaluators found at 4th floor. And I enquired about a key person’s long leave He is coming back on Monday that’s 24th.
And in secretary office I enquired about result the staff said ” ಇನ್ನೂ10-12 ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರತ್ತೆ ಸರ್”
So personally I don’t want to comment here any particular date.. just I’m posting the responses of kpsc staff.

In the gate they won’t allow u. But my friends has taken appointment yesterday to meet secretary today regarding group C results so I also went inside with them. And I enquired in the secretary staff section.
