KPSC KAS Preliminary Exam Result & Cutoff Score details
The Karnataka Public Service Service has successfully completed a preliminary examination for Gazetted Probationers in the State Administrative Services (KAS) on 20 August 2017. In the next phase, the recruitment authority will announce the result for this exam. The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers (GP) Result is likely to be declared within two or three months. The candidates can check the KAS GP Result by using the Login ID (Application No.) and Password (Date of Birth) on the official website.
In 2015, a recruitment for 401 posts of KAS Gazetted Probationers in various departments of the Karnataka State. Applications were invited from the eligible candidates for these posts. As per the organizational information, A large number of candidates shown interest in this recruitment. A massive number of applications were received. The authority conducts a written examination (Prelims) for the registered candidates on 20.08.2017 respectively.

The KAS Gazetted Probationers Preliminary Exam took place on 20/08/2017. A massive number of candidates appeared in the examination. The candidates who have been a part of the test are eagerly waiting for the result for the same.
The KAS recruitment authority will announce the KPSC Preliminary Exam result as soon as possible. The result is likely to be declared in the third week of October. The candidates will be able to check the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result by using the application registration number and date of birth.
KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result get
The Commission releases KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in online or offline mode. In case, if the results are released in online mode, the applicants have to visit the official website and enter their login credentials such as Registration No. and Date of Birth. After entering these details, the detail will generate your result on the desktop screen. Now you can check your KPSC Gazetted Probationers results and can also get the provisional result sheet for future reference.
Whereas, to check the KPSC Result KAS Prelims Result 2017 through offline mode, the candidates have to get the result in pdf file from the official website. In the offline, the Commission will upload the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in Pdf format. In which all the qualified candidate’s Registration No. and Name is provided. The candidates can use Ctrl+F in order to search their Registration No. to check the result. The Commission will upload mark sheet on the official website after declaring the KPSC Administrative Services Exam Result 2017. The candidates can get the result sheet for the provisional use.
KPSC Gazetted Probationers Cut Off Scores
The Preliminary Examination had two papers with each carrying 200 Marks. The applicants need to score minimum qualifying marks in each paper to qualify. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination are eligible to appear in the mains exam. The Commission will announce the mains exam date, a few days after the declaration of KPSC KAS Prelims Exam Result 2017.
The recruitment authority will finalize the cut-off marks on the basis of difficulty of the exam, the number of applications received vs the number of vacancies and number of appeared candidates. A notification regarding category-wise cut-off marks will be published on the official web portal. The candidates will be intimated on their registered email id and mobile number also.
How to check KPSC KAR Gazetted Probationers Result 2017:
- First of all, visit the official website at http://www.kpsc.kar.nic.in/
- Find the detail named KPSC Gazetted Probationers (Prelims) Result
- . on the detail and Fill the required details like reg no. & Pass
- Check the filled information and . on the proceed button
- The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result will be shown on your desktop screen
- get it and take a valid print out for provisional use

If those candidates who are there in wrd final list write a letter about leaving ESi job..is there any provision of choosing candidates to final lists who have been not selected in provisional list(doc verification candidates)???? @Nitin…Yes before announcing final selection list they can opt for any one post ..It’s left to the discretionary of the selected candidates who appeared in both lists of WRD and ESI …They have to give it in writing before announcement of final selection list if they want to opt out from any selected post which will be benefited to other candidates …

Question regarding usage of symbols like om ,swasthik used on answer papers was raised by kpsc secretary and is seeking few more days to get explanation from the candidates ( which is totally absurd)..
Question regarding hk and non hk reservation was also raised( again a needless question)….
Final outcome…. Secretary has sought a time of 1 week to submit the 1:5 list for commissions approval…

For Q1. I think 15 mins is too short. It was 15 mins for very less people. You can expect interview for 30 mins for most of them. For some less people, it may go for more than 30 mins.

@ashu obc certificate is based on your father’s income and even if you’re married to GM it has no effect to reservation. However your kid will come under OBC creamy layer. (Don’t know if there is a separate criteria in state).

@Hi; sindutva pramana patra is document signed by ur respective DC approving ur claim for reservation.
If u get selected in govt dept, under reservation( SC, st, 2a, 3b, etc. Not rural or kms) ur dept will ask u to submit it.
U got to go to ur respective Bcm office collect form. Attach all documents n submit for verification under sakala. Process takes 20-30 days. As there will be spot verification, tashildar verification, sign by committee members n final by DC.
Its to prove that ur claim fir reservation in legitimate. As u submit bare min documents to get caste certificate.
Also its a way for govt employees to make money… (personal opinion based on experience n also former cs had endorsed the same)
Until u submit u wont get order copy. If its get rejected u stand to loose the job as well..

There is nothing compulsion to speak in a particular language, infact panel itself asks u to speak in Kannada or English whichever u r comfortable and one more note is u can mix-up no issues at all

Is it Possible to start interview by 15th of next month as they have not collected our DAF? If they can’t prepare questions on our DAF mostly interview will not be personal assessment rather it will be another test of knowledge, Is it so?
How long will it take to complete document verification?
If interview starts that early is it possible to prepare within 7 days(8th to 14th)?

What are the bare minimum questions one has to prepare to get average marks?

Its not upsc Bro. To open a portal for daf submission.
Last time even though they did document verification separately. They asked candidates to Get a form n fill n get it on interview day. They considered that equivalent to daf.
It barely had educational qualification. Hobbies n stuff. No where close to daf.
Based on my personal view, interview process in Kpsc is no where close to upsc to analyse so much n make their (Kpsc) preparation before hand!!
Also document verification this time will be on interview day itself. No separate doc verification this time.
Ryan had calculated roughly the schedule. I guess he had got 40-44 working days. Interview will be on all working days. (so basically sat also)

Valid caste certificate is sufficient for now.
If u get selected under sc reservation then ur department, to which u r selected, will ask u to submit sindutva. Only after submission u get order copy (for joining that particular dept).
Also Its not required if u get selected in GM category.
Dont worry.
This long duration of waiting will end one day,these spent days lesson fr who have got selected ,, but totally waste for failures!!
