KPSC KAS Preliminary Exam Result & Cutoff Score details

The Karnataka Public Service Service has successfully completed a preliminary examination for Gazetted Probationers in the State Administrative Services (KAS) on 20 August 2017. In the next phase, the recruitment authority will announce the result for this exam. The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers (GP) Result is likely to be declared within two or three months. The candidates can check the KAS GP Result by using the Login ID (Application No.) and Password (Date of Birth) on the official website.

In 2015, a recruitment for 401 posts of KAS Gazetted Probationers in various departments of the Karnataka State. Applications were invited from the eligible candidates for these posts. As per the organizational information, A large number of candidates shown interest in this recruitment. A massive number of applications were received. The authority conducts a written examination (Prelims) for the registered candidates on 20.08.2017 respectively.

The KAS Gazetted Probationers Preliminary Exam took place on 20/08/2017. A massive number of candidates appeared in the examination. The candidates who have been a part of the test are eagerly waiting for the result for the same.

The KAS recruitment authority will announce the KPSC Preliminary Exam result as soon as possible. The result is likely to be declared in the third week of October. The candidates will be able to check the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result by using the application registration number and date of birth.

KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result get

The Commission releases KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in online or offline mode. In case, if the results are released in online mode, the applicants have to visit the official website and enter their login credentials such as Registration No. and Date of Birth. After entering these details, the detail will generate your result on the desktop screen. Now you can check your KPSC Gazetted Probationers results and can also get the provisional result sheet for future reference.

Whereas, to check the KPSC Result KAS Prelims Result 2017 through offline mode, the candidates have to get the result in pdf file from the official website. In the offline, the Commission will upload the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in Pdf format. In which all the qualified candidate’s Registration No. and Name is provided. The candidates can use Ctrl+F in order to search their Registration No. to check the result. The Commission will upload mark sheet on the official website after declaring the KPSC Administrative Services Exam Result 2017. The candidates can get the result sheet for the provisional use.

KPSC Gazetted Probationers Cut Off Scores

The Preliminary Examination had two papers with each carrying 200 Marks. The applicants need to score minimum qualifying marks in each paper to qualify. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination are eligible to appear in the mains exam. The Commission will announce the mains exam date, a few days after the declaration of KPSC KAS Prelims Exam Result 2017.

The recruitment authority will finalize the cut-off marks on the basis of difficulty of the exam, the number of applications received vs the number of vacancies and number of appeared candidates. A notification regarding category-wise cut-off marks will be published on the official web portal. The candidates will be intimated on their registered email id and mobile number also.

  • Find the detail named KPSC Gazetted Probationers (Prelims) Result

  • The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result will be shown on your desktop screen
  • get it and take a valid print out for provisional use

    • Please check previous comments. You will understand so called civil service aspirants mentality. Apart from handful of people other will never support. Again it will be same story.
      How many do you think would have honestly skipped for upsc reasons? Hardly few.
      No one wants to do anything when its their turn. Everyone wants others to do. Everyone wants to just sit and seek information.
      Anyways all the best. Atleast we wont be coming again travelling from so far to feed information for people sitting back home.

  11. already in one newspaper report few days back Chairman has clarified that SECRETARY is the only person to speak about RESULTS…….then how can CONTROLLER give info on results??????very clever move by kpsc to escape in future days!!!!if you ask on Monday…they say….we have not issued any statement….best wishes to all….

      We waited infront of gate from 10am to 1pm …we stopped all the members n officers who came …. secretary bandidru , we could have stopped him …but he didn’t came in our time ….yar sikkidru avara hatra we collected information ….Ello kootkondu comments madodu easy ….but difficult to do that in reality

  24. @All Great effort, i apologize i am sorry I couldnt come in morning, i had classes which i could not cancel. But right now in am front of Kpsc in a red creta car , there is one cop and few candidates. The enquiry guy say guarantee next week result.Just an information today I had class at GYAN IAS institute, they asked me to inform some needy aspirants, they are starting FREE IAS/KAS Prelims classes starting this month, I am not here to market anybody and not at all a marketing strategy, if anyone is intrested for this kindly inform them to register their names and ph number by emailing gyaniasclasses at gmail dot com. Abt the results everybody knows bajpai lies, god knows the future of our exam result.

  39. We blocked entrance for a while. one member was caught by us in front of the gate. He was asking us – still results are not out? He was just listening to our grievances then Krishna Bajpai enters. He was not ready to listen to our issues, he went inside. obviously he was afraid to face candidates and their questions. One candidate convinced him to come before us and clear our doubts.

    the final reply from him was this- > The evaluation is over, we are yet to receive final tabulated copy of result from TCS. we are expecting this to come by tomo or day after that. then by next monday you can expect result.

    first hand information though i still dont know if i should believe what he has told us. because this is the same person who misled candidates that result will be out by February end itself. credibility issues !

  68. SSC and upsc aspirants if they want to do any protest/gathering all the aspirants will be mobilised from the whole country and gather at Delhi.Really we should be learning a lot from them.
    Those who are at Bangalore and not coming today (without any genuine reasons) should be ashamed of themselves..there are 100’s of them in vijaynagar just studying for kas exam.. I request one last time for you ppl to please come out of your cubicles and gather in front of kpsc..remember if the list is released then the process will complete soon and there’ll be a new notification asap..try to understand..

    But i dont have financial resources to come again.
    However my friends are coming. They have left to Bangalore already.

    And one more thing….
    We should request kpsc to use twitter like how NSP, SY sir used to do… they used to provide regular updates every week to aspirants… they should meet this demand… kpsc should provide regular updates about recruitment and progress at least once a week in twitter…..

    If possible, we can also meet Chief Secretary Sir and request CS Sir for betterment of kpsc and also provide memorandum (fast process, regular updates about recruitment) to him ….. anyhow we are gathering in large number… we can also do this at once….
    We will definitely have Chief Secretary Sir support because he himself was dissatisfied about kpsc working ….

  83. Finally we are gathering tomorrow at 10AM in front of KPSC to demand for our mains results. Let the gathering be peaceful.
    For the people who are near to KPSC(in and around Bangalore) and aren’t making their mind to come tomorrow without genuine reason I want to tell you this..
    Many of my Friends have left for Bangalore today from kalburgi and vijayapura which are more than 600+ and 500+ kms away from Bangalore.. And the distance from vijaynagar to KPSC office is just 9KMS.
    Please follow your conscience wheather to come tomorrow or not after reading this message..
    And to those who fear to be noted:- please don’t fear of being noted..we aren’t doing any illegal activities.. There should be reasonable strength so that the pressure is felt on them to release results asap..
    Please makeup your mind to come tomorrow.
    Meet you all tomorrow morning at 10AM.

  95. Uncertainty haunts 118-yr-old Kairangala primary school :

    In the Kannada film, ‘Sarkari Hiriya Prathamika Shale Kasaragodu’ running to packed halls, everything turns out well in the end for the government-run Kannada medium primary school. Cut to reality, uncertainty haunts the 118-year-old aided Higher Primary School at Kairangala in Bantwal taluk, where the film has been shot.

    For a century and more, the school has imparted education to thousands of students in and around Kairangala village. Even Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) Chairman Shyam Bhat completed his primary education in the same school.

    Recollecting the education imparted at Kairangala School Dr Rajani, an Ayurveda practitioner and an alumnus of the school, said, “The school certainly has helped thousands of students like me to shape our future and become successful in life.”

    “Our classes seemed to burst in its seams with students way back in 1990. In my class alone, there were more than 40 students. The school was popular for quality education. It is sad to note that the number of students has come down drastically, posing a threat to its very existence,” she said.

    Devadas, a teacher in the school, said there were 700 students and 15 teachers in the past. Now, the number of students has come to down 25, he added.

    “The school has only one full-time teacher and two guest teachers,” he said.

    With English medium schools opening in every nook and corner of villages, aided or government-run schools have been facing a bleak future due to the decline in the admission of students, a resident of Kairangala said.

    A source in the Education Department said, “It is not just Kairangala school, a majority of Kannada medium schools in Karnataka face a bleak future. If the same situation continues, the future generation may get to see government schools only in films.’’
