KPSC KAS Preliminary Exam Result & Cutoff Score details

The Karnataka Public Service Service has successfully completed a preliminary examination for Gazetted Probationers in the State Administrative Services (KAS) on 20 August 2017. In the next phase, the recruitment authority will announce the result for this exam. The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers (GP) Result is likely to be declared within two or three months. The candidates can check the KAS GP Result by using the Login ID (Application No.) and Password (Date of Birth) on the official website.

In 2015, a recruitment for 401 posts of KAS Gazetted Probationers in various departments of the Karnataka State. Applications were invited from the eligible candidates for these posts. As per the organizational information, A large number of candidates shown interest in this recruitment. A massive number of applications were received. The authority conducts a written examination (Prelims) for the registered candidates on 20.08.2017 respectively.

The KAS Gazetted Probationers Preliminary Exam took place on 20/08/2017. A massive number of candidates appeared in the examination. The candidates who have been a part of the test are eagerly waiting for the result for the same.

The KAS recruitment authority will announce the KPSC Preliminary Exam result as soon as possible. The result is likely to be declared in the third week of October. KPSC Gazetted Probationers Cut Off Scores

The Preliminary Examination had two papers with each carrying 200 Marks. The applicants need to score minimum qualifying marks in each paper to qualify. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination are eligible to appear in the mains exam. The Commission will announce the mains exam date, a few days after the declaration of KPSC KAS Prelims Exam Result 2017.

The recruitment authority will finalize the cut-off marks on the basis of difficulty of the exam, the number of applications received vs the number of vacancies and number of appeared candidates. A notification regarding category-wise cut-off marks will be published on the official web portal. The candidates will be intimated on their registered email id and mobile number also.

      • GM MEN may go beyond last year cutoff due to less number of seats
        TOTAL SEATS ARE ONLY AROUND 35 I GUESS SON 35*20 =700 SEATS UP FOR GRAB
        LAT TIME IT WAS AROUND 45 SEATS
        BUT GM WOMEN AND GM RURAL CUTOFF WILL BE LESS THAN LAST YEAR
        AND WHEN IT COMES TO 3A GM ALSO LESS SEATS AROUND 10 SEATS SO CUTOFF FOR 3A GM EXCLUDING WOMEN WILL BE MORE THAN LAST YEAR

  7. Cut is as follows ( this cutoff is given by one the well known expert)

    For non HK GM – 140+
    For GM HK – 120+

    And then follows reservation. So who all in this range start preparing , results are expected to be announced this weekend. All the best.

  19. people who have scored more than 100 in both paper with reservation especially women will get a chance for mains as per my analysis based on difficulty and most number of vacancies are for rural and womem quota…
