KPSC KAS Preliminary Exam Result & Cutoff Score details
The Karnataka Public Service Service has successfully completed a preliminary examination for Gazetted Probationers in the State Administrative Services (KAS) on 20 August 2017. In the next phase, the recruitment authority will announce the result for this exam. The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers (GP) Result is likely to be declared within two or three months. The candidates can check the KAS GP Result by using the Login ID (Application No.) and Password (Date of Birth) on the official website.
In 2015, a recruitment for 401 posts of KAS Gazetted Probationers in various departments of the Karnataka State. Applications were invited from the eligible candidates for these posts. As per the organizational information, A large number of candidates shown interest in this recruitment. A massive number of applications were received. The authority conducts a written examination (Prelims) for the registered candidates on 20.08.2017 respectively.

The KAS Gazetted Probationers Preliminary Exam took place on 20/08/2017. A massive number of candidates appeared in the examination. The candidates who have been a part of the test are eagerly waiting for the result for the same.
The KAS recruitment authority will announce the KPSC Preliminary Exam result as soon as possible. The result is likely to be declared in the third week of October. The candidates will be able to check the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result by using the application registration number and date of birth.
KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result get
The Commission releases KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in online or offline mode. In case, if the results are released in online mode, the applicants have to visit the official website and enter their login credentials such as Registration No. and Date of Birth. After entering these details, the detail will generate your result on the desktop screen. Now you can check your KPSC Gazetted Probationers results and can also get the provisional result sheet for future reference.
Whereas, to check the KPSC Result KAS Prelims Result 2017 through offline mode, the candidates have to get the result in pdf file from the official website. In the offline, the Commission will upload the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in Pdf format. In which all the qualified candidate’s Registration No. and Name is provided. The candidates can use Ctrl+F in order to search their Registration No. to check the result. The Commission will upload mark sheet on the official website after declaring the KPSC Administrative Services Exam Result 2017. The candidates can get the result sheet for the provisional use.
KPSC Gazetted Probationers Cut Off Scores
The Preliminary Examination had two papers with each carrying 200 Marks. The applicants need to score minimum qualifying marks in each paper to qualify. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination are eligible to appear in the mains exam. The Commission will announce the mains exam date, a few days after the declaration of KPSC KAS Prelims Exam Result 2017.
The recruitment authority will finalize the cut-off marks on the basis of difficulty of the exam, the number of applications received vs the number of vacancies and number of appeared candidates. A notification regarding category-wise cut-off marks will be published on the official web portal. The candidates will be intimated on their registered email id and mobile number also.
How to check KPSC KAR Gazetted Probationers Result 2017:
- First of all, visit the official website at http://www.kpsc.kar.nic.in/
- Find the detail named KPSC Gazetted Probationers (Prelims) Result
- . on the detail and Fill the required details like reg no. & Pass
- Check the filled information and . on the proceed button
- The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result will be shown on your desktop screen
- get it and take a valid print out for provisional use
KPSC released another re-revised answer key today.
That means, it will take another 3 – 4 days to announce the results.
So, Stay cool for another 3 – 4 days.

Do u know one coaching institute in bangalore says it will teach geography in 10 days and ethics in 3 days( 10k only for ethics). My fight against those coaching. Yes. The number of seats is less this time. But not a huge difference. It was 440 last time and it is 428 this time. Considering that competition has increased and also paper was tougher than last time. The cut off will be 170 or a little less than that.

Yes. Out of 240. 120 will be GM. And seats without any sort of reservation will be around 40 out of that 120. And paper being tougher than last time means cut off will be less than 170 or 170. Anything above 170 can be considered as a good score

First general category seats are filled by taking in top scorers. After that rest. Untill general is filled no other category is filled.

But less than 180 based on all the parameters taken. So any number between 175-180
All top scorers are not from GM. Also women score more here (Studious students).Also there is a huge competition in all category.So good scorers may be more in other categories also
