RPSC (Rajasthan Public Service Commission) has released a notification for the combined competitive exam for Administrative Services. Applications were invited from eligible candidates for filling up RAS/RTS posts on various 980 positions. The exam will be commenced in the month of June 2018. RPSC RAS/RTS Exam Scheme & Paper Pattern

The Combined Competitive Examination will be held in two successive stages-

  1. Preliminary Examination
  2. Main Examination

Preliminary examination: The Preliminary Examination will consist of one paper on the subject specified below, which will be of objective type and carry a maximum of 200 marks. The examination is meant to serve as a screening test only. The Standard of the paper will be that of a Bachelor’s Degree Level.

The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the candidates, who are declared qualified for admission to Main Examination will not be counted for determining their final order of merit.

Main Examination:

  1. The number of candidates to be admitted to the Main Examination will be 15 times the total approximate number of vacancies (category wise) to be filled in the year in the various Services and posts, but in the said range all those candidates who secure the same percentage of marks as may be fixed by the Commission for any lower range will be admitted to the Main Examination.
  2. The written examination will consist of the following four papers which will be descriptive/analytical. A candidate must take all the papers listed below which will also consist of question paper of brief, medium, long answer and descriptive type questions. The standard of General Hindi and General English will be that of Sr. Secondary level. The time allowed for each paper shall be 3 hours.

The candidates who obtain the minimum required marks as fixed by the recruitment authority will be called for the personal interview or personality test which will consist of 100 marks.

RPSC RAS/RTS Admit Card Details

The RPSC RAS/RTS Admit Card will consist of details about the candidate like name, roll number, photograph, examination centre details and exam timings etc printed on it. The candidates must take a valid print out of RPSC RAS/RTS Admit Card in order to appear for the exam.

Aspirants are advised to check the RPSC RAS/RTS Admit Card print properly. IN case of any error or misprint, the candidates must contact the examination authority to rectify them.

In addition, the candidates must bring a valid identity proof with candidate’s photo on it along with the RPSC RAS/RTS Admit Card print. A valid photo identity proof may be aadhar card, pan card, driving license, voter identity card etc. Ration card and e-aadhar card are not a valid photo identity proof in the above-said exam.
