Uttar Pradesh Police Dept has released another huge vacancy notification for the graduate degree passouts. The notification is given for the seats of SI and ASI in the UP Police Dept. The applicants can enroll for the SI or ASI vacancy online on the UPPBPB website. The UP Police has started the registration for the SI and ASI jobs from 07/01/2024 and the end date to deposit the online forms is 28/01/2024.

Vacancy Information:

  1. UP Police/Sub Inspector/Confidential- 268 Seats
  2. UP Police/Assis Sub-Inspector of Police/Clerk- 449 Seats
  3. UP Police/Assis Sub-Inspector of Police/Accounts- 204 Seats

Educational Qualifications:

The UP Police will permit the applicants with graduate degrees to submit the forms for the SI and ASI jobs online. The applicants should have recommended typing speed also for the SI and ASI vacancies of UP Police.

Selection Approach:

The UP Police will first conduct the written exam and then there will be a Physical standard and measurement exam followed by a Computer Skill/typing exam and a Medical exam. In the end, the UP Police will verify the documents.

Application Expense:

All the applicants from every caste category will be asked to submit application charges of INR 400 for the SI and ASI jobs of UP Police.


Age Standards:

The UP Police will allow the individuals in the age range from 21 years to 28 years to enroll for the SI/ASI jobs. 

Pay Grade:

  • For Seats 1 – INR 9300- 34800 with GP INR 4200 
  • For Seats 2 – INR 5200- 20200 with GP INR 2800 
  • For Seats 3 – INR 5200- 20200 with GP INR 2800
