KPSC KAS Preliminary Exam Result & Cutoff Score details
The Karnataka Public Service Service has successfully completed a preliminary examination for Gazetted Probationers in the State Administrative Services (KAS) on 20 August 2017. In the next phase, the recruitment authority will announce the result for this exam. The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers (GP) Result is likely to be declared within two or three months. The candidates can check the KAS GP Result by using the Login ID (Application No.) and Password (Date of Birth) on the official website.
In 2015, a recruitment for 401 posts of KAS Gazetted Probationers in various departments of the Karnataka State. Applications were invited from the eligible candidates for these posts. As per the organizational information, A large number of candidates shown interest in this recruitment. A massive number of applications were received. The authority conducts a written examination (Prelims) for the registered candidates on 20.08.2017 respectively.

The KAS Gazetted Probationers Preliminary Exam took place on 20/08/2017. A massive number of candidates appeared in the examination. The candidates who have been a part of the test are eagerly waiting for the result for the same.
The KAS recruitment authority will announce the KPSC Preliminary Exam result as soon as possible. The result is likely to be declared in the third week of October. The candidates will be able to check the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result by using the application registration number and date of birth.
KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result get
The Commission releases KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in online or offline mode. In case, if the results are released in online mode, the applicants have to visit the official website and enter their login credentials such as Registration No. and Date of Birth. After entering these details, the detail will generate your result on the desktop screen. Now you can check your KPSC Gazetted Probationers results and can also get the provisional result sheet for future reference.
Whereas, to check the KPSC Result KAS Prelims Result 2017 through offline mode, the candidates have to get the result in pdf file from the official website. In the offline, the Commission will upload the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in Pdf format. In which all the qualified candidate’s Registration No. and Name is provided. The candidates can use Ctrl+F in order to search their Registration No. to check the result. The Commission will upload mark sheet on the official website after declaring the KPSC Administrative Services Exam Result 2017. The candidates can get the result sheet for the provisional use.
KPSC Gazetted Probationers Cut Off Scores
The Preliminary Examination had two papers with each carrying 200 Marks. The applicants need to score minimum qualifying marks in each paper to qualify. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination are eligible to appear in the mains exam. The Commission will announce the mains exam date, a few days after the declaration of KPSC KAS Prelims Exam Result 2017.
The recruitment authority will finalize the cut-off marks on the basis of difficulty of the exam, the number of applications received vs the number of vacancies and number of appeared candidates. A notification regarding category-wise cut-off marks will be published on the official web portal. The candidates will be intimated on their registered email id and mobile number also.

Absolutely not! Out of 100 ppl if 50 ppl take kannada and 40 ppl take RD then probability of getting in will be more for these ppl on account of the huge numbers!!!
But it looks like good scores were awarded to candidates who took Kannada literature last time compared to other optionals,is that the main reason for many candidates to change their optionals to Kannada literature from other optionals this time?

pub ad – GS 3 was ok, not bad , but GS 4 I found it difficult ..expecting around 850 to 900 which may not be enough for the final list , last time I didn’t clear mains becoz of low pub ad score

We cannot rely on last time results , because this time it is 1:5 and papers were kind of different , may be last time it was 880 + or so for GM W , this time it may come down to 820..

This time the number that will be called for interview is 1:5, it’s likely there would be a large difference between the toppers and those nearer the cutoff, how would one know if he/she has a realistic chance of being in the final list without knowing individual marks?
Ppl who haven’t done pretty good in mains and still be in the interview list means they can’t get into final list. Ppl who r placed at 3, 4,5 position can’t get into the list even if they give 170 in interview

Don’t worry, you have more probability of getting selected for the interview as you have got HK and other reservations. Getting into the final list depends on your KAS mains.

Results will come only after elections, I think they have delayed this entire process because as elections were round the corner there were huge possibilities that again money could be taken from the eligible candidates during interview stage if lists are announced,but still with foolproof I cannot say that taking money from eligible candidates would not happen after elections. I wish it does not happen .

According to prajavani newspaper it had stated that 4 candidates whose names where mentioned in the list of candidates who had paid money during interview process and were given more marks in interview during 2011 had also got huge marks in interview during 2014 like 180+. Though elections are conducted by ECI kpsc is a constitutional body when ECI ordered code of conduct it cannot do anything no exams no interviews no new notifications. They can publish eligibility list for interviews .

dont believe in any kind of falls news (evaluation has not started etc)… no body knows exact info, because
1. you know what happened to 2011 posts
2. kpsc is under pressure for recent fda exams issue
that is why they are doing their job in confidential manner we jus need to wait..
2day i called kpsc no ending with 53 she said with confidence that no body knows exact info, we are saying 1 2 months to wait its under confidential .. i dont think they are sitting idle and dont compare with duration (gap) of last time result..

kpsc is not that credible institution. Despite the confidentiality, if so it exists, some internal people reveal what’s happening inside the institution.
