KPSC KAS Preliminary Exam Result & Cutoff Score details
The Karnataka Public Service Service has successfully completed a preliminary examination for Gazetted Probationers in the State Administrative Services (KAS) on 20 August 2017. In the next phase, the recruitment authority will announce the result for this exam. The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers (GP) Result is likely to be declared within two or three months. The candidates can check the KAS GP Result by using the Login ID (Application No.) and Password (Date of Birth) on the official website.
In 2015, a recruitment for 401 posts of KAS Gazetted Probationers in various departments of the Karnataka State. Applications were invited from the eligible candidates for these posts. As per the organizational information, A large number of candidates shown interest in this recruitment. A massive number of applications were received. The authority conducts a written examination (Prelims) for the registered candidates on 20.08.2017 respectively.

The KAS Gazetted Probationers Preliminary Exam took place on 20/08/2017. A massive number of candidates appeared in the examination. The candidates who have been a part of the test are eagerly waiting for the result for the same.
The KAS recruitment authority will announce the KPSC Preliminary Exam result as soon as possible. The result is likely to be declared in the third week of October. The candidates will be able to check the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result by using the application registration number and date of birth.
KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result get
The Commission releases KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in online or offline mode. In case, if the results are released in online mode, the applicants have to visit the official website and enter their login credentials such as Registration No. and Date of Birth. After entering these details, the detail will generate your result on the desktop screen. Now you can check your KPSC Gazetted Probationers results and can also get the provisional result sheet for future reference.
Whereas, to check the KPSC Result KAS Prelims Result 2017 through offline mode, the candidates have to get the result in pdf file from the official website. In the offline, the Commission will upload the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in Pdf format. In which all the qualified candidate’s Registration No. and Name is provided. The candidates can use Ctrl+F in order to search their Registration No. to check the result. The Commission will upload mark sheet on the official website after declaring the KPSC Administrative Services Exam Result 2017. The candidates can get the result sheet for the provisional use.
KPSC Gazetted Probationers Cut Off Scores
The Preliminary Examination had two papers with each carrying 200 Marks. The applicants need to score minimum qualifying marks in each paper to qualify. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination are eligible to appear in the mains exam. The Commission will announce the mains exam date, a few days after the declaration of KPSC KAS Prelims Exam Result 2017.
The recruitment authority will finalize the cut-off marks on the basis of difficulty of the exam, the number of applications received vs the number of vacancies and number of appeared candidates. A notification regarding category-wise cut-off marks will be published on the official web portal. The candidates will be intimated on their registered email id and mobile number also.

- Find the detail named KPSC Gazetted Probationers (Prelims) Result

- Check the filled information and . on the proceed button
- The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result will be shown on your desktop screen
- get it and take a valid print out for provisional use

All are one way or the other right in guessing the probable mains results date. KPSC is not much worried like us…they are doing as per their wish. They don’t have cut off date for anything and they are known for it.. best example is Sub Registrar results..if KPSC push it for next month it’s a self suicide for them because it will be easy for political powers to push it for few more months and make it December…but kpsc is trying hard to finish it soon.. But it’s not in control..no matter how we fight here on dates blaming each other it’s not going to work..ppwer house will decide everything.. What best we can do is just pray and wait for the good day… Here I don’t point at anyone for guessing dates with data but those predictions may come true or may not come true that’s what my point is!…keep guessing it would keep this group active…

apply for other exams and prepare. kpsc gp exam is like lottery one shouldnt be waiting for the results. Ther is staff crunch,lecturers dont turn up for evaluation. Then kpsc has to hire experts for interview panel. This all will take time. Plus i have heard that govt is waiting for bhatt to go out.

@kaka…yes news are also going around that there is political pressure to conduct interviews after December.. KAKA in a way right.. But there is no substantial materials to believe that it’s true.. Its just a rumour… Still valuations are going on.. KPSC itself does not know the date of events and plans for the interview.. Here nobody can also guess how things will turn in the days to come..

This Kaka sounds like Rick to me,after Rick got the backlash for his mental comments last time seems like he has resurfaced as Kaka now. Although Rick/Kaka comes across as someone with serious issues and a tendency to go batshit crazy at times but one thing has to be admitted that it was Rick who was consistently saying that evaluation had not started when there were many rumors,even an RTI reply suggesting evaluation had started,when evaluation did start Rick was one of first to confirm it. So I have a suspicion that this Kaka might be true. In any case,all words now r pointless, nothing is going to come out of idle speculation. If anyone has any action plan about what might be done to pressurize KPSC,maybe a protest or something else needs to be discussed, anything else is just an utter waste of time.

First time in GP exam 1:5 list is being called…this is one way beneficial and in many other ways not a good thing. Since its 1:5 may be 800 would also fit in the list. If you see 2014 GP final list candidates with 870 and 890 were also selected securing high marks in interview. This time around its not only your interview marks is important but your mains marks will decide your chance in the selection list as you will be ideally competing with 4 other candidates. So cut off is not so important but mains marks will decide your fate. Logically if your score is 820 and you get 160 in interview your total score is 980.. Even though you scored well in interview you are our of list. So hope for good marks on mains..
Good analysis. Gazing through last year marks I felt GS3 and GS4 are the game changers in KPSC as in most of them score well in optional and Essay. Interview can have significant impact on the post you get.

According to one of the KAS officer’s(old batch) prediction ,it will be around 900+ for GM women.
If we observe the prelims cut off this time for women, it was very less.So I think mains cutoff will also reduce.

Prelims also people predicted! Like it was true. Evryone said it will be 158-170.. Nobody had even guessed it will b 128. So chill. We can’t guess how everyone has done.. Accordingly the score goes lower or higher. Last time papers were way easier, the scores still dint cross 900, it was 890or something..
There might be a fall in cutoff considering the number of seats however I don’t think the fall will be significant, Because there wasn’t much difference between cutoff of GM and GMW last year.
Ya on that same lines, this time also people predicted prelims cutoff. But u ve seen the difference. It was huge BTW gm nd gmw.. So let’s see..

@Vijay as u analyzed it’s correct n almost evaluation coming to end but don’t know when they announce the results… So better start preparation for interview I feel simply we r wasting time..

As it wont take a week long time to evaluate Anthro..
After few days result will be out and nobody will open this forum for comments… And sadly many will not be in the list since they eliminate the below cut off people… Again next notification comes, everyone will apply and after mains exam a forum like this will come up and everyone will start commenting and scolding KPSC showing their helplessness… Something has to be done before such a long waiting period arrives again… Need to put pressure on kpsc for their negligence and ignorance… People here can try their best in the best possible way… Many of us are waiting for a trigger to explode against kpsc… Don’t know when that time will come…
Evaluation timeline:
Started between May 15 – 17th ( not sure of the exact date). English n Kannada language papers. Forgot when it got completed.
Source- friends relative, Kannada lecturer who had gone for evaluation.
GS 1 Imm after language papers. Along with optional associated with GS 1 like history, sociology. Not sure till when.
GS 2 : started from june 18th.
Source- evaluation invite letter.
Optionals associated with GS 2; political science, pub ad, geography. Before start of GS2 or along with it.
Source – friends geography prof. Also someone who had commented here who had gone for doc verification(sorry i cant remember ur name).
GS 3 n GS 4 : until July 16th.
Source – Info colleced from Kannada prof who had gone for evaluation of optionals.
Kannada literature : July 17 to July 23 rd.
Source – Kannada optionals evaluator.
Rd, economics optionals : July 25 to 5th aug.
Source – Ryan n Gopi. From evaluators.
Anthro : prob from 6th Aug. Source – inputs from Ryan. N tallying.
After all these pending is only least preferred optionals, where hardly 20 to 30 taKe those. So evaluation wont stretch beyond 15th of this month.
Expected result : last week of this month.

Yeah true! Just believe in yourself and then believe right info. You are mature enough to do so. ⏭️⏭️soon will results be out.. Month end probably. There ain’t 137 subjects. Even to me a person replied lethargically. I hung up. He said generally it takes 10months to give results, I was like best is not to give it forever nd hung up d call. That person dint even speak sense. Such senseless heads recieve call sometimes at kpsc helpline! So forget them.

Nimge neevu chennag madiddira ansudre interview preparation start madi. Nange gottiro thara few girls and boys who had devoted very little time also cleared prelims because cutoff was low. Adre they couldn’t prepare for mains ..Ee thara swalpa janru iddare and they just filled up the paper with good handwriting. But beware filling paper will not get you good marks it will just fetch some marks.

@ Vijay there must be some pud ad aspirants from Dharwad centre,so it’s more than 350 I feel…mine was at triveni institute

No I think. All my friends from Pub Ad had got Triveni as their centre. Did not hear of anybody writing Pub Ad in any other centre. Why ?

This time many of my friends changed from pub ad to Kannada or RD.. As not many from Pub ad made it to the list last time.
Triveni institute centre was shared with ppl from Kannada also. So wanted to know if there was any other centre for pub ad..

Dont worry.. Max will be from Kannada followed by RD. This is the trend all these years. Pub Ad is loosing sheen as Kannada and RD have become scoring .

Also keep one thing in mind, when u r preparing for civil service exams u got prepare as though u have qualified for next stage.. U wont have time ones results r announced.. So better prepare now rather than starting after results…

Not everyone will know exact status of evaluation..
Listen to voice properly. It must be someone from helpline..
