However i tried contacting my friends, Whos prof/relative/etc had gone for evaluation previously..
    English n Kannada no invite.
Geography prof had come for evaluation today.
Who ever had come today for evaluation have completed itseems …
But my friend has not collected complete picture.
Like which all subjects prof had come!?
Was geography for GS or optionals or both?
Is it sectional wise correction in GS, for which variation is there or whole paper of GS!?

  3. @Fakerappa (+ Many others who are impersonating) get a life. Don’t take others name and play with everyone’s emotions. If you have nothing to do please don’t visit this site and litter here . Seems like you’re suffering from multiple personality disorder. Get it checked soon.
@Fakerappa results will come even without you speculating and commenting with different username. If you can’t be tolerant at least don’t spread hatredness over here. It’s been long and everyone is waiting for results nevertheless not everyone is behaving like you. They maintain decorum. Being a senior aspirant yourself you already might have accustomed to this before, but you look more like a headless chicken. Don’t act like child and use cuss words (you and some cat).

Wanted to vent out anger. @Fakerappa you’re just balipashu for irritating others.

  5. Recently prajavani newspaper had published an article titled ‘ KPSC ge rooga ‘. It bashed regarding long delays in process and unfilled vacancy for years which is delaying the progress of state. It made news and former CS, former kpsc mani sir had also voiced concerns about this. May be because of this, kpsc released 15 provisional lists in 2 last days… See the effect… So, pressure must be kept on them through media and colleagues…
    For KAS, same applies …

I know its not rule that there should be 3rd evaluation. But just to confirm as by now they should have finished so…

  10. Guys, this time there is a lot of bias in optional evaluation. Some papers got more marks and some less.. Kannada targeted. RD, Anthro and Pub ad triumphs this time.. Bad news.

  11. Ryan had commented that he had met a professor from dharwad university when he had gone near Kpsc. My classmate was from dharwad n his sister is studying in karnataka university, dharwad.(actually this is called dharwad university itseems) in psychology department..
I contacted her. Her prof is not to be seen from month start only itseems.
So i asked her to call him n check for some details.
He told that he has come for evaluation n since evaluators r very less here its has got delayed n so only u havent seem me for a month. Actually we were supposed to finish last week but one prof left in middle. So it got even more delayed. We prob might complete tom. If there is more evaluation( prob he meant 3rd) we might finish by Friday. N that i will resume classes from Monday..
He dint divulge anything beyond this itseems giving some reasons. (i had asked to check if any subject lecturer is also to be seen).

  13. Guys a small query.
In optional paper if one attends 6 questions out of 8, three questions from each section, including compulsory 1st and 5th, then how would they allot marks ? is it that best of five will be considered or they go according to serial numbers?

suppose i have written 1, 2 and 3 from section A and 5, 6 and 7 from section B. My question is, apart from 1st and 5th questions which are compulsory, which other questions will be considered for marks? if they go by rules if any which i dont know, they should go for 2 and 3 in section A and 6 in section B. this is the case in upsc if im not wrong, they are strict in following such procedures as well. But what happens in KPSC ? please let me know, if anyone know how it works in KPSC. will they consider best three among remaining 2, 3, 6 and 7 or they go by serial numbers ? Thanks in advance 🙂

  19. It’s been a while since my last comment on this forum. My only intention is to give tentative date of publication of eligibility list GP-2015;
*From my reliable source of information, I learned that eligibility list will be published anytime after September 10th. (I’ll give you exact date once I updated if time permits).
Why such a delay!!, here I can justify with approximate time required for each stage:
~decoding the question cum answer booklets followed by consolidation of marks and preparation of 1:5 eligibility list as per merit and category/reservations claimed in the online applications.(~5 days)
∆ Once 1:5 eligibility list is prepared, it will be signed by Deputy Secretary of the concerned branch followed by the Secretary.(~1-2 days)
∆ The same list has to be approved by the 13 members and the chairman.(~1 Week, may take less time as GP priority)
∆ Finally Secretary has to order for the publication of the eligibility list in the web. (~1-2 days).

Remember: Evaluation is not completed yet but it’s at the final stage( I can’t discuss the papers left )

My Request: Your anxiety for the results drag you down instead Prepare for the PT with all positivity. I wish May every true aspirant taste the success. All the very best. I may not come back to this forum for few days ahead of my plans. Adieu!!!

    2. If paper get 3rd evaluation also den how will dey allot the final marks for dat paper?… will dat be average of 3 evaluation marks or what?…

If some1 knw about dis pls share the info

    Reply
    • When a paper is evaluated twice, average of these 2 will be taken,
If it goes for 3rd valuation, then marks scored in 3rd evaluation is final..

      Reply
    • If a paper goes for third valuation, the two closest marks will be taken and average of it will be taken and that will be the final marks.
A paper will go for 3rd valuation if the difference of marks is more than 15% of 250,

      Example: 1st valuation= 110
      2nd valuation = 180
      3rd valoation = 140, in this case final marks will be 110+140/2 = 125

  38. Spoke to my source. These were the things which informed;
    Evaluation:
After completion of all optionals n GS he moved to interview preparation. So he doesnt know exact status as to Whats happening. What is pending.
Last time He had clearly mentioned that all pending issues will be resolved within this week. Which included 3rd evaluation also.
I asked abt Kannada 3rd evaluation. He told he has forgotten subject specific things. However he told for some yes it was done along after 2nd itself. For ex: if a subject evaluation gets over by afternoon, they would run the list n check where 3rd is required during lunch break n make sure its done after lunch. As prof for next subject will be available next day itself. So basically convenience rather than a norm.
Told him abt 4-5 prof seen for evaluation Yest n today. He told Thats the sign that its getting over. We have 100s of system for which we can accommodate simultaneous evaluation.
He also told by tom u expect everything to be winded.
However they have deadline until wed. So dont be surprised if i see evaluators till then..

    List preparation:
Once all evaluation is done we will run the list. The bar coded data will be matched with the personal data n a master list with everyones marks will be generated.
We have kept the matrix f posts n reservation ready, so after that we will upload n get the qualified list also.
If required we will do manual list prep of qualified ppl to cross verify!!
Next week they will doing this.(dint mention exact date )

    Approval meeting:
    Friday/Sat(doubtful). Monday most expected.

    Interview:
    Preparation is on the go.
    3 possibilities based on suggestions;
15 days time from announcing the schedule(takes 2-3 days from announcing mains result).
Oct 1st week. Con – in midst of ias exam.
    Mid of Oct second week.
    Not finalized yet.. Lets c.
N interview will be on same terms like last year. 4 members i panel. Interview on Sat also.
