KPSC KAS Preliminary Exam Result & Cutoff Score details
The Karnataka Public Service Service has successfully completed a preliminary examination for Gazetted Probationers in the State Administrative Services (KAS) on 20 August 2017. In the next phase, the recruitment authority will announce the result for this exam. The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers (GP) Result is likely to be declared within two or three months. The candidates can check the KAS GP Result by using the Login ID (Application No.) and Password (Date of Birth) on the official website.
In 2015, a recruitment for 401 posts of KAS Gazetted Probationers in various departments of the Karnataka State. Applications were invited from the eligible candidates for these posts. As per the organizational information, A large number of candidates shown interest in this recruitment. A massive number of applications were received. The authority conducts a written examination (Prelims) for the registered candidates on 20.08.2017 respectively.

The KAS Gazetted Probationers Preliminary Exam took place on 20/08/2017. A massive number of candidates appeared in the examination. The candidates who have been a part of the test are eagerly waiting for the result for the same.
The KAS recruitment authority will announce the KPSC Preliminary Exam result as soon as possible. The result is likely to be declared in the third week of October. The candidates will be able to check the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result by using the application registration number and date of birth.
KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result get
The Commission releases KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in online or offline mode. In case, if the results are released in online mode, the applicants have to visit the official website and enter their login credentials such as Registration No. and Date of Birth. After entering these details, the detail will generate your result on the desktop screen. Now you can check your KPSC Gazetted Probationers results and can also get the provisional result sheet for future reference.
Whereas, to check the KPSC Result KAS Prelims Result 2017 through offline mode, the candidates have to get the result in pdf file from the official website. In the offline, the Commission will upload the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in Pdf format. In which all the qualified candidate’s Registration No. and Name is provided. The candidates can use Ctrl+F in order to search their Registration No. to check the result. The Commission will upload mark sheet on the official website after declaring the KPSC Administrative Services Exam Result 2017. The candidates can get the result sheet for the provisional use.
KPSC Gazetted Probationers Cut Off Scores
The Preliminary Examination had two papers with each carrying 200 Marks. The applicants need to score minimum qualifying marks in each paper to qualify. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination are eligible to appear in the mains exam. The Commission will announce the mains exam date, a few days after the declaration of KPSC KAS Prelims Exam Result 2017.
The recruitment authority will finalize the cut-off marks on the basis of difficulty of the exam, the number of applications received vs the number of vacancies and number of appeared candidates. A notification regarding category-wise cut-off marks will be published on the official web portal. The candidates will be intimated on their registered email id and mobile number also.

– thinkers name his contributions
– examples of tribe
– books of thinkers
– definition if not accurate they should atleast have the essence of what thinker is trying to convey
– criticism
-diagrams in physical anthropology
in paper 2
also the same holds good but since many aspirants including myself lack one or the other aspect and tend to overlook key points we are not able to score good marks having said that i know few people who have managed to score above 360 in anthro last time . so it is not good to say everyone will get low marks people who tend to do well will definitely get good marks . Since paper 1 was a little tricky the scores may be less and people may score well in paper 2

What Guru shared is true.. Evaluators r invited until 15th.
However based on info collected from my friends, it might not stretch until 15th. Might get over earlier itself..(no means for me or my friends to confirm thru evaluators)..
For geography they had invited for close to a week (3 rd evaluation). However it got completed in two days… Same was the case for Kannada, as mentioned by Ryan..

950 plus would be having an edge to appear in selection list because of 1:5 ratio…Mere eligible for interview would not give you any edge for selection…Tough competition..We have to do exceptionally well in the interview to get selected and score good marks in the interview…All the best for interview …Hopefully interview starts from October..

I think cut off will be 800+ women since papers were tough and unconventional
I predict cutoff for women to be around 850( minimum 825) not just because paper was unconventional but due to horizontal reservation and 1:5 ratio. Despite the fact that people can clear cutoff the sanctity lies in making into final list. If you observe last year people who barely made it to interview never stood a chance. So probabilistic score would be 875-900.

KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result has been postponed indefinitely for the next one day due to bandh called by various organizations. If results were declared in addition to bandh, lot of clashes, violence, damages to public properties would have been the consequence. In view of an oversight of this uncontrollable situation, KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result had to be called off with no other options available. With this actions, lot of uncontrollable consequences have been avoided and put to rest. All the aspirants and students have been requested to maintain discipline and decorum in this situation. Maintaining peace and co-ordination would be of utmost importance of the department of KPSC. All aspirants and students are expected to cooperate in this unexpected postponement due to unexpected challenging seaming conditions.

It will be less this time Bcz 1:5 ratio.. Question were asked very tricky.. So many aspirants did mistake In optional especially who wrote first time.. Most of the candidates from 2014 batch were absent some of dem trying for AC…
It might fall less than 900 for Unreserved Men itself. So it would be anywhere around 850-875 considering(Though 850 is minimum) horizontal reservation provided to women, challenging questions and 1:5 ratio. But the problem is getting into final list, as it will be Herculean task to those who barely made it through.
Safe bet would be 900 for women and 940-950 to men (to make into final list)

since the vacancies are in 430’s ie 2150 will be shortlisted for interview
2150/63 roughly 35-36 working days are required and few members will retire in november so one or two boards be less so it will be roughly 40 days

Let me clarify/share information that i have already shared;
* Secretary informed my source ,during review of interview prep, that evaluation will get over shortly.( now guru has clarified that its until 15th).
* Interview MIGHT start from third week start..
Its on verge of confirmation.. Exact date i will share once it gets approval in meeting..
* at any cost results wont be before 17th.. (even if they miraculously prep list n get approval till secretary level by then which is impossible). As one of the concerned person after that, whose approval is required is on leave (@ram i have answered ur query indirectly. If an officer is on leave there will be someone with additional charge with same powers).
These r the same things which i have shared before..
Until approval of interview schedule i have nothing. As my last option of ethics evaluator is exhausted, as he also finished his work..
So if someone comments in my name pls dont believe.. Today twice it has happened so…

But based on what info I have received, evaluation is concluding very shortly, prob today (i am not 100% sure as i dont have any means to cross verify).
With that one concerned person is available only after 17th..
So based on that i just hoped it might be in 3rd week.. As even they have immense internal pressure to release asap…
With that interview dates r on verge of finalizing.. So i personally dont believe that it will stretch beyond this month Atleast…
Lets just hope the results r out asap.. Enough of this waiting game!!!
