KPSC KAS Preliminary Exam Result & Cutoff Score details
The Karnataka Public Service Service has successfully completed a preliminary examination for Gazetted Probationers in the State Administrative Services (KAS) on 20 August 2017. In the next phase, the recruitment authority will announce the result for this exam. The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers (GP) Result is likely to be declared within two or three months. The candidates can check the KAS GP Result by using the Login ID (Application No.) and Password (Date of Birth) on the official website.
In 2015, a recruitment for 401 posts of KAS Gazetted Probationers in various departments of the Karnataka State. Applications were invited from the eligible candidates for these posts. As per the organizational information, A large number of candidates shown interest in this recruitment. A massive number of applications were received. The authority conducts a written examination (Prelims) for the registered candidates on 20.08.2017 respectively.

The KAS Gazetted Probationers Preliminary Exam took place on 20/08/2017. A massive number of candidates appeared in the examination. The candidates who have been a part of the test are eagerly waiting for the result for the same.
The KAS recruitment authority will announce the KPSC Preliminary Exam result as soon as possible. The result is likely to be declared in the third week of October. The candidates will be able to check the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result by using the application registration number and date of birth.
KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result get
The Commission releases KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in online or offline mode. In case, if the results are released in online mode, the applicants have to visit the official website and enter their login credentials such as Registration No. and Date of Birth. After entering these details, the detail will generate your result on the desktop screen. Now you can check your KPSC Gazetted Probationers results and can also get the provisional result sheet for future reference.
Whereas, to check the KPSC Result KAS Prelims Result 2017 through offline mode, the candidates have to get the result in pdf file from the official website. In the offline, the Commission will upload the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in Pdf format. In which all the qualified candidate’s Registration No. and Name is provided. The candidates can use Ctrl+F in order to search their Registration No. to check the result. The Commission will upload mark sheet on the official website after declaring the KPSC Administrative Services Exam Result 2017. The candidates can get the result sheet for the provisional use.
KPSC Gazetted Probationers Cut Off Scores
The Preliminary Examination had two papers with each carrying 200 Marks. The applicants need to score minimum qualifying marks in each paper to qualify. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination are eligible to appear in the mains exam. The Commission will announce the mains exam date, a few days after the declaration of KPSC KAS Prelims Exam Result 2017.
The recruitment authority will finalize the cut-off marks on the basis of difficulty of the exam, the number of applications received vs the number of vacancies and number of appeared candidates. A notification regarding category-wise cut-off marks will be published on the official web portal. The candidates will be intimated on their registered email id and mobile number also.
How to check KPSC KAR Gazetted Probationers Result 2017:
- First of all, visit the official website at http://www.kpsc.kar.nic.in/
- Find the detail named KPSC Gazetted Probationers (Prelims) Result
- . on the detail and Fill the required details like reg no. & Pass
- Check the filled information and . on the proceed button
- The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result will be shown on your desktop screen
- get it and take a valid print out for provisional use

Felt like sharing;
Recently there was SC judgement regarding jee list.
Rules stated that the numerical values should be answered to 2 decimal values.
In answer they had got 73 (example). However based on rules the actual answer should have been 73.00
So SC asked to redo the list based on rules cbsc had mentioned.
[any wrong in the info shared pls correct. Also present status of it]
So its very important to follow rules mentioned. Also its prerogative of the concerned institution to take action for not following the rules. Also taking action as mentioned previously.
Few days back upsc aspirant was late by 2 minutes to exam hall (mains), he was denied entry despite the police requesting the supervisor. What we need to follow is spirit of law not law perse. {Only for above case}

Joining/appointment order n all in private firm. Not for govt dept n all.
Normally the final list will be sent to concerned dept. That dept will send letter for all selected candidates to attend document verification. After that they will issue order copy (basically joining letter or appointment order).
As of now they have no plan to call common candidates to choose a single job.
However they have not discussed at stretch regarding that.
They r planning to decide abt it after objection period closes.

Karnataka varsity bans writing of religious names or symbols on answersheets
It is a truth universally acknowledged that students desperate to do well in an exam will turn not only to their notes for last-minute revision but also to God.
Evaluators have often noticed religious words such as ‘Om’ and other mantras written neatly on the answer sheet. Now the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), the affiliating authority for all medical, dental and Ayush colleges in Karnataka, has decided to ban students from writing the names of Gods and assorted mantras on their answer sheets.
Varsity officials believe that this is not just a matter of simple faith. M.K. Ramesh, Registrar (Evaluation) of RGUHS, said the University had come across cases where certain words like ‘Om’ or names of gods were written in pre-assigned spots to help the evaluator identify the student whose answer script he or she is evaluating.
‘Signal to the evaluator’
“We see that students write ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ on the top of the third or fourth page. All this is to give a signal to the evaluator. Writing such things in the examinations will henceforth constitute malpractice,” Mr. Ramesh said.
The principal of a medical college in Bengaluru, however, said it could interfere with a student’s faith. “The university should instead say that students can write a god’s name at one particular place in the answer paper,” he said.
Besides the ban on religious words, the university has added seven other rules on what could constitute malpractice.
Students are now prohibited from writing the register number, their name, the letters ‘P.T.O.’ at the end of the pages, other irrelevant messages, any word, number, or sentence that is extraneous to the answers, answers that are out of context to the question asked, and tampering with the booklets.
“Do not write any sign/symbol, letter, word which are likely to be construed as revealing the identity of the answer script,” states a circular issued by the varsity on Monday.
Mr. Ramesh said that the answer sheets of students violating these rules will be sent to the Malpractice Committee, which will decide whether the student has to pay a fine or be disqualified.
RGUHS also has another committee, the Professional Misconduct Committee, which will oversee the functioning of evaluators.
Students have welcomed the move as they feel that their peers have come up with novel ways of cheating.

Moreover delaying it by a week wont make much of a change in the schedule or their preparation.
Regarding kas mains results;
Nothing much note worthy happened in Yest meeting.Another meeting is planned in this week. List might go for approval then. Again no guaranty.
However their deadline is for another meeting next week.( you know Kpsc, how they keep deadlines).
All i can say is results very shortly.
Note: there is absolutely no delay from tcs side. Kpsc is just trying to shift resp to mask their inefficiency.

As per my knowledge kas related software support is handled by tcs exclusively. Not 100% sure though.

Kpsc member sayeed Ahmed khan was the only one who heard us patiently today. Controller came at 12.30 and gave a statement which is hard to believe but have hopes.

If anyone feels you’re being misguided please ignore those comments instead of targetting them. Today after repeated requests and pleadings less than 50 people assembled it seems (out of 7500+ who gave mains + from other departments).
But Vijay, Ryan , Guru and few others out of their own will visited almost every week, collected information and updated you guys. After all these efforts they are constantly subjected to trolls. Please refrain, show empathy.

Read the previous comments he had told. List is ready and first it gets signed by SB. Then there will be a meeting and once approved in the meeting it will get signed by members and then SB again.
He either is a brilliant script writer or has more information than KPSC controller.

He Infact had told results in Feb when evaluation had not started itself. Next in May when evaluation had just started.

No Vijay never said that the list got signed..he in fact was right when he told that kas list was not signed in Saturday’s meeting…his info was authentic
