KPSC KAS Preliminary Exam Result & Cutoff Score details

The Karnataka Public Service Service has successfully completed a preliminary examination for Gazetted Probationers in the State Administrative Services (KAS) on 20 August 2017. In the next phase, the recruitment authority will announce the result for this exam. The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers (GP) Result is likely to be declared within two or three months. The candidates can check the KAS GP Result by using the Login ID (Application No.) and Password (Date of Birth) on the official website.

In 2015, a recruitment for 401 posts of KAS Gazetted Probationers in various departments of the Karnataka State. Applications were invited from the eligible candidates for these posts. As per the organizational information, A large number of candidates shown interest in this recruitment. A massive number of applications were received. The authority conducts a written examination (Prelims) for the registered candidates on 20.08.2017 respectively.

The KAS Gazetted Probationers Preliminary Exam took place on 20/08/2017. A massive number of candidates appeared in the examination. The candidates who have been a part of the test are eagerly waiting for the result for the same.

The KAS recruitment authority will announce the KPSC Preliminary Exam result as soon as possible. The result is likely to be declared in the third week of October. The candidates will be able to check the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result by using the application registration number and date of birth.

KPSC Gazetted Probationers Cut Off Scores

The Preliminary Examination had two papers with each carrying 200 Marks. The applicants need to score minimum qualifying marks in each paper to qualify. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination are eligible to appear in the mains exam. The Commission will announce the mains exam date, a few days after the declaration of KPSC KAS Prelims Exam Result 2017.

The recruitment authority will finalize the cut-off marks on the basis of difficulty of the exam, the number of applications received vs the number of vacancies and number of appeared candidates. A notification regarding category-wise cut-off marks will be published on the official web portal. The candidates will be intimated on their registered email id and mobile number also.

  4. Like how commission divided into 2 groups we are divided, no unity, no consensus among aspirant, and lack of strength when we go kpsc.

  7. The list is ready,it’s in front of commission but it hasn’t got approval even after series of meetings.. Why??
    The controller said it would be released within Oct 8th..but it didn’t come true.
    We have studied and written the exam it’s our right to get the results soon..the commission has to work in our interest not in theirs own!! Why the hell all the members can’t sign it??
    There are high rumours of political intervention here(a fact) ..if they delay further 2011 is gonna repeat in different form..
    Act now..if we pressurise them they have to release the results. Waiting further is useless.. We’ll waste our time and spoil our peace.
    October 12th Friday I and my friends will be in front of kpsc at 10.30 AM..Those who wish to join can join.. Those who want results soon and need to get in to service will definitely join( distance doesn’t matter here..we are not going to any foreign land)

    ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಲೋಕಸೇವಾ ಆಯೋಗ (ಕೆಪಿಎಸ್‌ಸಿ) ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷಾ’ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೇ ಇಷ್ಟೊಂದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಗೈರಾಗಿರುವುದು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿದೆ. ಸೋಮವಾರ ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಈ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಕೆಲವೇ ಕೆಲವು ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಆಕಸ್ಮಿಕ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಖಾಲಿ ಹುದ್ದೆ ಭರ್ತಿಯೂ ಸವಾಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸದ್ಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾದವರಿಗೆಲ್ಲ ಅದೃಷ್ಟದ ಬಾಗಿಲು ತೆರೆದಂತಾಗಿದೆ.

    ‘ಸಿ’ ವೃಂದದ ಸುಮಾರು 12 ರೀತಿಯ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಒಂದೂವರೆ ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಅರ್ಹತೆ ಗಳಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಕೆಪಿಎಸ್‌ಸಿಯ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಕಚೇರಿ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆ. 24ರಿಂದ ಏಕ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಸಮಯ ನಿಗದಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಮೊದಲು ನಡೆದ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಇಡೀ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ನೂರರಷ್ಟು ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕೂಡ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಬರೆದಿಲ್ಲ.

    ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ 342 ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ ಕೇವಲ 39 ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ 258ರ ಪೈಕಿ 23 ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮೈಸೂರು, ಕಲಬುರಗಿ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದೇ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಇತ್ತು. ”ಸೋಮವಾರ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ನಡೆದ ಶುಶ್ರೂಷಕಿ ಹುದ್ದೆಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೂ ಬೆರಳೆಣಿಕೆಯ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಷ್ಟೇ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು”, ಎಂದು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯ ಆಹಾರ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಉಪನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ ಅಫ್ರಿನಾಬಾನು ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

    ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಗೊಂದಲ:
    ಈ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೆಪಿಎಸ್‌ಸಿಯಿಂದ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ ಹಿಂದೆಯೇ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ 2017ರ ನ.25ಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಿಗದಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕæೂನೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣಾಂತರದಿಂದ ತಡೆಹಿಡಿಯಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆಪಿಎಸ್‌ಸಿ ಈಗ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದೆ. ಸೆ. 24ರಿಂದ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಿರುವ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳು ಅ.5ವರೆಗೆ ವಿವಿಧ ದಿನಗಳಂದು ನಡೆಯಲಿವೆ. ಒಟ್ಟು 15 ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳು ನಿಗದಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ ವಿಷಯದ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಸೋಮವಾರ ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆಯೇ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

    493 ಹುದ್ದೆಗೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಗಳಿಲ್ಲ:
    ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ 493 ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳ ಭರ್ತಿಗೆ ಈಗ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ 25ರಿಂದ 30 ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರ ಹಾಜರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಹುದ್ದೆಗೆ ಪೈಪೋಟಿ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಬರೆದವರಿಗೆಲ್ಲ ಉದ್ಯೋಗದ ಅವಕಾಶ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿದೆ. ”ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಪ್ರತಿ ಕೊಠಡಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ಬೆರಳೆಣಿಕೆಯಷ್ಟೇ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿದ್ದರು. ಏಕೆ ಇಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಜನ ಗೈರು ಹಾಜರಾದರು ಎಂಬುದು ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಹಿಂದೆಯೂ ಇದೇ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಕೆಲ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳ ಭರ್ತಿಗೆ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದವರಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಆದೇಶ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಗೈರು ಹಾಜರಿಗೆ ಅದೂ ಕಾರಣವಿರಬಹುದು”, ಎಂದು ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

    ಸೋಮವಾರ ಕೆಪಿಎಸ್‌ಸಿಯಿಂದ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಪಧಾತ್ಮಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗರಿಷ್ಠ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಗೈರು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು. ಏಕಿಷ್ಟು ಗೈರು ಹಾಜರಿ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ನಮಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.

    Trial begins against former KPSC chief H N Krishna

    The trial court has expedited the proceedings and has again pressed charges against all the accused, including Krishna. Former chairperson of Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) H N Krishna will face the trial over irregularities in the recruitment of Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ oicers in 1998, 1999 and 2004. The trial court has expedited the proceedings and has again pressed charges against all the accused, including Krishna.

    Earlier, the court had dropped certain offences under the IPC against Krishna and other accused in the case based on a Karnataka High Court order. The High Court had ordered quashing of the entire criminal proceedings, relating to the offence of cheating, forgery and criminal conspiracy against the accused. The accused in the case – Karnataka Administrative Service officers Asha Parveen S M and Salma Firdose (both from 1998 batch) faced charges of fudging their caste certificates to clinch the post.

    The state government had challenged the high court order. In April this year, the Supreme Court directed the trial court to restore the trial including all the charges pressed against them. The court has posted the hearing to October 6,’’ an advocate said.

    Besides Asha Parveen and Salma Firdose, Criminal Investigation Department (CID) had named KSPC staff K Narasimha and M B Banakar, P Gopi Krishna, personal assistant to H N Krishna. During the period of incident, Krishna was a member of the KPSC and later became the chairman. The CID investigation, based on the forensic report by the Hyderabad forensic laboratory, stated that caste certificates had been fudged. Asha Parveen was selected as tahsildar, while Firdose was selected as assistant sub-registrar during the recruitment.
    The case was registered in the Vidhan Soudha police station in 2011, on the basis of the investigation by the CID.

    The Karnataka High Court had ordered the enquiry into the irregularities in appointments to various posts in 1998, 1999 and 2004.

    Thursday is tommorow itself. It will be difficult for many of us to plan and leave.
    Moreover not sure if everyone will be available in Kpsc Thursday.
    Friday there’s meeting. Everyone will come to Kpsc. Seeing us they might Atleast consider releasing mains results.
    Lets not do like last time. Lets prepare well. Make sure there are numbers.

  44. 1. No results this week or first half of next week ( depends on commission meeting next Friday).
    2. Article in paper was from kpsc itself so that students don’t gather in front of kpsc asking for results.
    3. Results will be announced in last week of October ( so that no interview can be started on Nov)
    4. No interview untill new chairman.
    5. Most probably they will go ahead with document verification in mid November upto mid December.
    6. Interview schedule only from mid Jan.

    Friday is the best day to gather to put pressure on Kpsc to release results atleast.
    List is ready. Just needs approval. So if we gather on Friday morning itself and again block the cars Atleast then they might think of approving list n releasing results.
    Let them do interview when they want.
    Guys please think about it.

  52. Few people misleading my comments but Still I will share updates for the sake of real aspirants.

    ~TCS sent results in last weekend itself. Bcoz of difference in opinions among the members lead it to the further delay.

    ~ Meeting held today but with half baked decisions, no firm decision has taken by the commission on GP main exam result and further process.

    ~Friday’s meeting got more attention now, Fingers crossed.

    ~Having said that signing not completed yet. It remain unsigned till date!!!. Hopefully Friday meeting will give some positive outcomes.

    ~ If everything went as expected, Result may out by Friday Evening or Saturday.

    ~Teacher (KRIES) 1:3 eligibility list published, now kpsc calling in higher ratio even for Documents Verification. Actually this is better to avoid shortfall of the candidates in future.

    ~In same way, FDA/SDA 2018 eligibility lists out by early November.

    ~They will publish few provisional and Final select lists in next 2 days.

    ~ My next update will be on Friday after Commission’ meeting.

    Note: we won’t get GP main exam results unless whole commission work with the common interest. Ultimately true aspirants become victims.

    Strange but true: fingers crossed for CS (main) exam 2018 and GP (main) exam 2015.

  63. @Insider has already given a hint regarding the outcome.
    I am sharing what i have got.
    The information what i am sharing is not from my source. Its collected n shared by my friends ( working in tutions n already in service).
    * kas mains list dint get approval today. (not sure of exact reasons. Some say absenteeism). Probably Geetha or Insider or anyone might have the details which they might share.
    * List might go for approval on Friday.
    * if approved result on Sat.
    I know this Sat is a second sat so holiday in general.
    However 18 n 19 has been declared holiday on account of aayud pooja n vijayadashami. Since 21st is Sunday, 20th Sat has been declared holiday to facilitate continuous holiday, which anyways would have happend!!!
    So 13th, this Sat, has been made working.. Government circular has been circulated already in this regard..!!!
