KPSC KAS Preliminary Exam Result & Cutoff Score details
The Karnataka Public Service Service has successfully completed a preliminary examination for Gazetted Probationers in the State Administrative Services (KAS) on 20 August 2017. In the next phase, the recruitment authority will announce the result for this exam. The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers (GP) Result is likely to be declared within two or three months. The candidates can check the KAS GP Result by using the Login ID (Application No.) and Password (Date of Birth) on the official website.
In 2015, a recruitment for 401 posts of KAS Gazetted Probationers in various departments of the Karnataka State. Applications were invited from the eligible candidates for these posts. As per the organizational information, A large number of candidates shown interest in this recruitment. A massive number of applications were received. The authority conducts a written examination (Prelims) for the registered candidates on 20.08.2017 respectively.

The KAS Gazetted Probationers Preliminary Exam took place on 20/08/2017. A massive number of candidates appeared in the examination. The candidates who have been a part of the test are eagerly waiting for the result for the same.
The KAS recruitment authority will announce the KPSC Preliminary Exam result as soon as possible. The result is likely to be declared in the third week of October. The candidates will be able to check the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result by using the application registration number and date of birth.
KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result get
The Commission releases KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in online or offline mode. In case, if the results are released in online mode, the applicants have to visit the official website and enter their login credentials such as Registration No. and Date of Birth. After entering these details, the detail will generate your result on the desktop screen. Now you can check your KPSC Gazetted Probationers results and can also get the provisional result sheet for future reference.
Whereas, to check the KPSC Result KAS Prelims Result 2017 through offline mode, the candidates have to get the result in pdf file from the official website. In the offline, the Commission will upload the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in Pdf format. In which all the qualified candidate’s Registration No. and Name is provided. The candidates can use Ctrl+F in order to search their Registration No. to check the result. The Commission will upload mark sheet on the official website after declaring the KPSC Administrative Services Exam Result 2017. The candidates can get the result sheet for the provisional use.
KPSC Gazetted Probationers Cut Off Scores
The Preliminary Examination had two papers with each carrying 200 Marks. The applicants need to score minimum qualifying marks in each paper to qualify. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination are eligible to appear in the mains exam. The Commission will announce the mains exam date, a few days after the declaration of KPSC KAS Prelims Exam Result 2017.
The recruitment authority will finalize the cut-off marks on the basis of difficulty of the exam, the number of applications received vs the number of vacancies and number of appeared candidates. A notification regarding category-wise cut-off marks will be published on the official web portal. The candidates will be intimated on their registered email id and mobile number also.

- Find the detail named KPSC Gazetted Probationers (Prelims) Result

- Check the filled information and . on the proceed button
- The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result will be shown on your desktop screen
- get it and take a valid print out for provisional use

2014 my friend got 125 2a category and he will clear prelims. Kpsc doesn’t published any cut off regarding KAS prelims still. This cut off predictions only private website source. Don’t believe that website.

Simple just check the gp2014selection list u vl understand….. Though aishwarya has scored high she is selected under GM women Ramesh under GM 2a rl…. There is nearly 83marks difference between GM and 1st rank…. Patiently u go through selection…… According to Civil rules GM has to be maintained 50percent….irrespective of caste… Most people don’t accept it easily but it is the fact…..
I think it works both ways. The candidate’s marks as well as his/her preferred post. So my understanding is that, if a 2A candidate has scored more than GM and topped the exam but there is no AC for 2A, he will be given that post in GM. if there is a 2A reserved post for AC, then he will get that. So, it means the preference of post also matters.
I have stated this on the assumption that he has marked his 1 st preferred post is AC.

Supposing in order to get 100 questions correct then remaining 100 has to be wrong.so 100*2=200 and 200-50(wrong answer dedection)it will be 150 marks only

Last time being the paper easy comparatively….the difficulty of the paper is 60percent more than 2014…..so it can be anything between 145-150…..last time with such easy paper cutoff was somewhere between 170-180…

brother if you can understand that there is difference between GDP growth and rate of gdp growth,you can easily get the key what kpsc has given.there is no discrepancy and ambiguity in the key provided.it is totally correct

Again a blunder by kpsc in re revised key answers.. A polity question.. Related to committee on public undertaking… Option 3 is correct but in re – revised answer they have mentioned option 2 as correct.. For any doubt refer NEW LAXMIKANTH POLITY PAGE 23.4
