Haryana Staff Selection Commission, Panchkula will commence a written test for the post of Foresters (Advt. No. 12/2015 Cat. As we know, the application registration process was organized for 112 posts on Foresters (Forest Department) on the commission’s website. With the reference, Haryana Staff Selection Commission’s Examination Notice dated 31st July 2017 and Cancellation Notice dated 25.08.2017 published in various newspapers and also on HSSC website.

Now, the Haryana Staff Selection Commission has re-scheduled the written examination for the same on 15.10.2017 and the examination centres will be revealed on the admit card. The HSSC Foresters Admit Card will be made available on the same website from 09.10.2017 onwards.

HSSC Foresters Paper Scheme & Syllabus

The exam will be conducted in two sessions viz. Morning Session & Evening Session. The written exam will consist of 200 marks. And the viva-voce/Interview will consist of 25 marks. In morning session, the examination time will be 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM while in Evening Session exam timing will be 03:00 PM to 04:30 PM on 15-10-2017.

The written exam will comprise of 100 multiple choice questions of 90 minutes duration and divided into two portions comprising:

1. 75% weightage for General awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, English, Hindi and concerned or relevant subject.
2. 25% weightage for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture etc. of Haryana.

Each Question will carry two marks.

Viva-Voce/Interview will be conducted to assess the knowledge of the subject, communication Skill, General Knowledge, awareness, and Intelligence.

As per Advertisement conditions Before the Interview/Viva-Voce the candidates will have to qualify the Physical Standards and walking Test.

HSSC Forester Admit Card – Details & Instructions

For the written examination of Haryana Foresters, the admit cards will be released on the commission’s official website from 09-10-2017 onwards. The admit card will contain all valid information about the candidate like a unique roll number, name, date of birth, Photograph, examination centre details and exam timings etc printed on it.

As per the instructions, the candidates must bring the admit card print attested by a gazetted officer along with the aadhar card (original & photocopy). The candidates without attested admit card and aadhar card will not be allowed to enter the examination centre.
