Vacancy Details:

• Commercial Pilot License (SSA): 50
• General Duty: 50
• Technical (Mechanical): 20
• Law Entry: 01

Education requirements:

• Commercial Pilot License (SSA): Applicants must have done 12th Class, current /valid Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)
• General Duty: Applicants must have done Bachelor’s Degree
• Technical (Mechanical): Applicants must have done Engineering Degree 
• Law Entry: Applicants must have a Law degree

Age Limit:

• Applicants should have been born between July 1, 1997, and June 30, 2001, for general duty (Both dates inclusive)
• Candidates for Commercial Pilot Entry (CPL-SSA) must have been born between July 1, 1997, and June 30, 2003. (Both dates inclusive).
• Candidates for technical (mechanical, law, electrical/electronics) positions should have been born between July 1, 1997, and June 30, 2001. (Including Both dates).
• Age restrictions may apply according to the rules.

Medical Standards:

A. Height: 157 cms minimum for Asst Commandant (GD), Technical. Candidates from hilly and tribal areas would have their heights reduced in compliance with Central Government rules.
(ii) Asst Commandant (CPL-SSA) (Men/Women): Minimum leg length of 99 cm and a maximum leg length of 162.5 cm.

Weight (B). Acceptable range: + 10% when height and age are proportionate.
Chest, c. Well proportioned, with a 5 cm minimum expansion.
EyeSight (d).
Asst. Commandant (GD) 6/6 6/9 – Uncorrected without Glass
6/6 6/6 – Glass correction.
(iii) Assistant Commandant with one eye 6/6 and the other 6/9 in a CPL holder (SSA) with a 6/6 correction.
(iv) Assistant Commandant (Technical) 6/36 6/36 – Uncorrected without Glass.
6/6 6/6 – Glass-Corrected

Application Fee: 

• Rs. 250/- is the fee for all other applicants
• No fee for ST/ SC applicants
