A recruitment notice for filling up 284 posts of Gramin Dak Sevak ( ग्रामीण डाक सेवक ) in Maharashtra Postal Circle in the month of December 2017. Applications were invited from eligible and desirous candidates through online mode only.

MAHA GDS Merit List
Maharashtra Gramin Dak Sevak Merit List will be released within two-three months of the application registration date. The MAHA GDS category wise merit list will be generated by the post office department on basis of marks obtained by the candidate in 10th Class board exams.
As per the notification, No weightage will be given for higher educational qualification. However, the candidates who cleared the 10th in the first attempt will be preferred over the one who has completed it after appearing in the compartment exams.
If two applicants are having the same number of marks in 10th exams then the candidate with older age will be selected in the list.
