TNTET 2020: Tamil Nadu TET Online Application, Syllabus, Admit Card

Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) is going to conduct the Teachers Eligibility Test in June 2020. The exam is tentatively is scheduled to take place on 27 and 28 June. The TNTET 2020 notification is likely to be released in November 2020.

TNTET 2020 Notification: The TRB will announce the TNTET notification in the first week of November  2020. It might get delayed if TRB decided to conduct another exam as a priority. Otherwise, the notification will be announced in the 1st week itself. The candidates who hold eligibility will be allowed to apply online. The candidates will be given at least 20 days to submit the TNTET application online.

TNTET Online Application Form: The candidates who hold the required education qualification will be allowed to submit online applications at the official website trb.tn.nic.in. Before submitting the online application form, a candidate must ascertain that he/she does have the minimum education qualification and stands qualify to appear in the examination.

Eligibility Criteria: The TNTET is conducted for 2 different sections, Primary, and Upper Primary. The primary teachers are eligible for teaching classes 1 to 5 while the upper primary can teach classes 6 to 8.

Primary Teacher: A candidates looking to apply for paper 1 (Primary Teacher) must have passed 10+2 and obtained a 2 years diploma in Elementary education or a 4-year diploma in elementary education.

Upper Primary Teacher: A candidate must have passed Bachelor’s Degree and obtained a 2-year diploma in elementary education (also known as JBT) or B.Ed.

 

TNTET 2020 Paper Pattern and Syllabus

As we already discussed, the TET exam will be conducted in 2 papers.

Paper 1 Pattern: There will be 150 questions asked in 5 different sections. Each question will have multiple answers and candidates have to choose the correct one. Total time of 150 minutes will be given to solve the question paper.

TRB TNTET Hall Ticket 2020

The TRB Board will release the TNTET Hall Tickets at least 10 days before the exam online. It is done to remove any discrepancies in the Admit Card. The candidates do need to Get the TNTET Hall Ticket or Admit Card online from the official website of the TRB.
