The TNTET will be conducted in March 2021. The TNTET Hall Ticket or TRB TET Hall Tickets can be downloaded now from the official website of Tamil Nadu Recruitment Board.
A notification for the online applications was announced in February. The online application process may commence in January 2020. After that, the board will announce the exam dates for both paper 1 and paper 2.
Paper 1 will be conducted on 27 June 2020 while paper 2 on 28 June 2020.
- Paper 1: The candidates who are willing to teach class 1 to 5 and applied successfully will take part in Paper 2.
- Paper 2: Paper 2 is for the candidates who hold the eligibility to teach students of class 6 to 8.
Most of the states hold TET every year and so does the TRB. Like every board, the TRB has divided the TET into 2 levels. Haryana is the only state which conducts the TET at 3 levels.

TNTET Hall Ticket 2021- General Instructions
TNTET Hall Tickets: The TNTET Hall Tickets will be made available online on the website 15 days prior to the exam date. The applicants can download the same by entering the TNTET-2020 application registration details on the official website.
The TNTET Call Letter will consist of information like candidate’s name, roll number, photograph, registration number, exam centre name & code, exam time, etc printed on it. Aspirants must check the TRB TET Hall Ticket print properly. If there is any mistake on it, the aspirants must contact the examination authority before the examination.
The board will release the instructions on the TNTET Hall Ticket. Aspirants must follow the instructions for the hassle-free exam. Use of electronic gadgets like mobile phone, calculator, smartwatch, etc is prohibited in the exam.
The board will not send the admit cards to the postal address of the candidates. Thus, the candidates have to visit the official website and download the admit card online. The candidates should take a print out of the TNTET Hall Ticket on an A4 size paper.
Along with the admit card, the candidates must bring a Valid Photo ID card. Also, a recent passport size photo should be affixed in the given space on the admit card. The thumb impression should be pasted in the presence of exam invigilator only.
A candidate can bring any the documents written below to the exam hall to show as a valid photo ID.

One must bring a Photo ID in original and a photocopy of the same. The exam invigilator will ask for your Photo ID and Admit Card for the verification of candidate’s legitimacy.
